AWESOME KNIFE!!!
The deployment action steals the show here. The knife comes stupid sharp, as expected from Spyderco. The frame lock action is fun to play with. It’s simply a joy to have in hand, period. It feels like quality and it is. I spend this much on a knife about once a month or so, but I get that not everyone has that luxury. If you can afford it, get it. If you’ve never owned a Spyderco, this is a great first one to have. Everyone is entitled to their opinion obviously, but MY opinion is that this is the best all-around Spyderco knife. I carry the Delica 4 a LOT also, as it is a perfect EDC size, but I prefer the overall package and action of the Para 3. Great knife!

My favorite pocket knife
As I got into collecting knives, I didn't pay much attention to Spydercos. I thought they were weird looking. Kind of ugly actually. But I decided to go aheadand order one. It fut .y hand perfectly. And the quality was amazing. GOD bless America!

Perfect EDC if you want less than 3-inch blade!
In my opinion, a perfect EDC for less than 3 in blade. If you don't mind a larger blade, Para 2 or Military are, in my opinion, better options. Para 3 has great ergonomics, while the blade allows for really good control. Well made and sharp. I prefer to carry the Para 2, but this is good if I need something smaller.Overall, you can't go wrong with this!

BUY IT!!
The media could not be loaded. This is the best knife I’ve ever had. It’s the second spyderco I’ve gotten, along side the Smock. Fidget factor is 10/10, along with durability and size. I will be carrying this knife for a LONG time.

Intuitive grip great design
I have had a Benchmade bug out for the past 3 years and I loved that knife, resharpened it and used it every day as part of my EDC. Somehow to great heartbreak I lost it, and I decided to give the Para 3 a try. When I first opened it I almost sent it back because it felt so heavy in my hand compared to the buyout, and I really liked the bugout was so forgettable in my pocket, this one certainly is not. It feels heavier, the blade seems shorter, and I wasn’t impressed. However, after opening and using it, it rivals the bugout in my mind, simply because of how innovative the grip is. It is the most intuitive and clever designed knives I’ve ever held in my hand, the grip is angled and the forward finger position is right up to the blade. What this leaves you with is a precise grip on the knife that is much easier to control and manipulate than any other knife ive ever held, fixed or folding.I can’t say yet that I love it quite as much as I loved the bugout, but if you use a knife for more than just opening boxes, this is a great option.

This is the real deal. Well made.
Just got mine and I'm very happy."The handle's textured, black G 10 scales" actually feel like a micro stippling job all over the handle. Non slip surface for sure. Surprisingly solid grip when held in the hand. The stainless steel liners in the spine of the handle are also grooved to give extra grip and they complement the ridges/grooves in the spine of the blade where your thumb will be. I didn't notice them in the photo and wanted to point them out.The locking mechanism is solid and it is actually on the spine of the handle instead of in the path of the blade when you close it. I did not see that before I bought it.The blade is extremely sharp right out of the box.In closed position, the blade does not touch either side of the handle; it rests in the middle, the cutting edge touching nothing. Also no lateral play in the blade when closed.Pocket clip seems very tough, and paired with the textured handle, this thing hangs on tightly.
