I do not know the exact weight of the cardstock but I ship trading cards using the card stock and the weight with trading card, invoice, cardstock and envelope is approximately 0.50 ounces. Hope this helps.

Q: Would these provide enough protection for mailing video games or dvds?

No. These wouldn’t cover a standard size disk. Have you ever seen a 90s early 2000 sticker machine you put quarters in? This is the little cardboard sleeve for that.
