The base measures 6 3/4” x 7 1/8”. I must say great tool! Good luck

Measures about 9-1/4” from the jaws of the chuck to the bottom surface of the base. Would be 1/4” more or less if you used a larger/smaller diameter bit. So let’s just say max drilling depth 9”.
