The colour of it is a rusty red and yes it will change the colour of your coolant and really should only be used if you have a leak

As far as I know it's OK with any coolant. I checked the website and it states it's ok. I have used it in Audi Vw and Renault with no problems.

If the leak is coming from the coolant system, tank ,reservoir or pipes pour this liquid into the filling / top up tank making sure it`s not overfull afterwards, sometimes it takes two bottles ,doing what it says on the tin and hopefully it should do the trick.
