High quality as usual from streamlight
Decent output for 45 lumens .I have many aaa flashlights this is my first streamlight aaa ,great bit of kit.Pity the protac version isn't so common

On/off button, compact, and bright.
Simple click on, click off torch that's very bright considering its small size. I can't stand torches with 5 modes so this is perfect.Conveniently runs on AAA batteries and puts out more like than you'd expect.The button can be used in a press and hold manner or toggled on/off.The clever 2-way clip design means it can be a head torch when paired with a baseball cap.

Ideal for my purpose.
Very pleased with this little torch. Fits in shirt pocket and ideal to light my early and late walks, (dawn and dusk photography)I used it on four days, for about an hour over all and it's still going strong. (The on / off press button at the end requires a lot of pressure...may not do for arthritic hands!)

EDC torch without the excess ****
Excellent EDC torch. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. This isn’t a torch to get you through dark woods or act as a flood light.It’s for the little jobs. Power goes out it can get you round an unlit building. Police searching a vehicle.Yes the tail cap is a little firm to click on and off...BUT this is better used as a momentary on and of torch. If you want something for everything then buy a bigger more powerful one and don’t mark this down for doing what it is meant to!

It’s a great little torch, and you don’t realise how often you will use it until you have it.

brilliant little light has come in handy plenty of times ...
brilliant little light has come in handy plenty of times and is very bright for its size definitely glad I got it if I did have to pick a falts it's that if had to attach it to a keychain if u wanted to like myself and it's not partially water resistant as a found out when it went through the washing masheine... was hopefully I can get it to work again

Great value for money
Fantastic pocket torch for the price. Battery life is decent and it’s bright enough for the majority of tasks. I have the Olight i3t which is a similar light but the Microstream is superior in my opinion. 45 lumens is plenty for a torch of this size. Only negative point is the button is a bit stiff but it’s not really an issue once you get used to it.
