On mine the hairdryer function still works but the barrel now only twists very slowly. Any idea how to mend this as I can't seem to open the barrel?

Can this be used on towel dried hair/ wet?

No I tried it on wet hair it didn’t last very long I had to buy another best to dry off with hairdryer first. Use on semi dry hair

which is better 50mm or 42mm?

Depends what style you are creating 50mm straightens and gives lots of body when using correct products. I love the shiny sleek style that i achieve with my 50mm

I think about 4-5 ft long . Great product ,would be lost without mine
