I am an insomniac and have tried various bedtime teas to help me sleep. Some work reasonably well and others not so much. Most of them do however, have one thing in common - they smell nasty and taste vile to the point where I call my valerian teas "smelly sock tea".This one is different, the valerian is not overpowering in smell or taste, and the other botanicals make it very effective. It works and it is delicious - I have finally found the Holy Grail of sleep inducing teas, happy days! (and nights)

V good tea helps to fall asleep fast, using for many years but recently out of stock in my Sainsbury.

If you enjoy the Pukka Night Time tea, this is is priced better and does a similar job. I like the non-bleached tea bags and it’s much more efficiently packaged than Pukka. This has 20 bags all in one foil bag, as opposed to 20 x individually wrapped ones. Takes up less space in your cupboard and wastes less paper! For me this has quite a sweet sort of vanilla/fennel like taste but it’s not overpowering. Recommended you give it a try, and look out for special offers and Subscribe & Save discounts to get it down to just over £1 a box!

Very good product and between this and chamomile been using for a number of years. I used to buy my tea from H&B but prices are astronomical probably due to the war in Ukraine every business use this excuse now. Seen this on amazon and thought it was a good price as there was a scarcity of chamomile in the shops I use to get it from. Saw this in tesco a few years back on promotion, tried it liked it so bought more packets. Went back to get in some more and lo and behold price has gone through the roof, some blah blah blah about a drought in India. So hence I bought this but if this price goes up I will have to look elsewhere again.

... the best 'bed-time' tea that I have tried. I buy good branded tea and coffee beans but only de-caff as it really gives me too much 'buzz and shake' and has me bouncing off the walls instead of giving me just a lift.I'm not one for herbal/fruit teas but tried this one some years ago when having a bit of trouble falling asleep. I was attracted by the ingredients. As an aromatherapist I know the relaxing benefits of lavender and that valarian is the same ... but stronger. It works 'for me' really well.If you are new to this don't be put off by the preconception of what it will taste like; it is pleasant. And like all teas you can brew it to how you like it.Lately it has disappeared from my supermarket shelf and I am happy that it is available on Amazon ... and at a great price. I have set up a subscription order for regular delivery of the amount of packets I require which means I will never run out and I make an even better saving.Came well packed for safe transit and easy to open.
