Easy to fit & remove so can swap them around to ladder lengths to suit which roof I am working on. The hooks are a good size so sits nice & secure on the roof. They are also light but sturdy & the wheels are not too large but work well.

This item was £10 cheaper than screwfix and free post..It feels a bit light and flimsy but once you put it together and fix to ladder it is perfect for its use..if you are going to use this once a year then it will last and totally safe..I would only use occasionally. .if you are using this daily I would buy a proper roofing ladder. .This is perfect for the day use..remember you have to remove it to put your ladder back as two piece. .but no big deal once you have fitted it's simple to remove..

I have had to climb on my garage roof to clear moss and this worked really well. Came quickly and bolted on to my alloy ladder. It made me feel safe as I completed the job and never shifted or caused me any problems. Thoroughly recommend it.

Needed a roof ladder to be able to run a small repair on a slate roof. Local roofer said he would do the job but, as with all trades these days, was always too busy and never contactable. So i decided to give it a go myself. To hire a roof ladder for 24 hours was 31 quid. To buy this kit for keeps was 34 with free delivery.It arrived the very next day. Assembly was slightly tricky due to the small components but not at all difficult and, once fitted to my ladder, was very secure.I rolled the ladder up the roof and flipped it over onto 2 patio lounger cushions to protect the slates and got the job done in half an hour. Brilliant and saved money too.

This roof ladder hook kit is a well made piece of kit and its easy to assemble. I simply can't understand why some reviewers complain about the assemble kit. As the old saying goes. If all else fails read the instructions or in this case all you have to do is look at the photograph on the outside of the box.
