Works as described. Solid enough. Sometimes a wee bit slow but that may also be because of the card, or the laptop.

I use this to transfer images from my camera to my MacBook (using a converter for USB-C). No problems, transfers images quickly.

Fast, efficient plug-and-play card reader
I needed a replacement card reader for my iMac. I've bought superb HiFi cables from UGreen and so i decided to go for their 2 slot SD / micro-SD card reader. This little gadget has a very sturdy cable connection and appears to be well built. I simply plugged it into the USB slot and it fire up straight away. Very fast and efficient reading and data transfer. It's also robust, small and light enough to take travelling. Well pleased and can fully recommend.

A good SD card reader but the usb cable is too short!
My old laptop has an SD card reader but my new one doesn't and I have lots of photos that I constantly need to transfer from SD cards to my laptop, so I decided to get this card reader in the hopes I could stick with my newer laptop when working on photos nowadays.The card reader is small and works straight out of the box. You don't even need to read anything, just plug and go into any usb socket on your computer/laptop. As soon as you plug it into a usb socket you can also push any SD card into the slot. It has a space for a TF card too (a mini SD card in case you don't know what it is!) though I've only so far tried using the SD card slot. My computer instantly recognises the cards with no issues and I've found this easy to use and such a help for me when struggling to transfer old SD saves to my new laptop.However there is one problem I do have with this card reader and that's the length of the cable where it's plugged into the usb slot. While I dont need a huge lengthy cable, this one is so short and quite stiff that I can't push it behind the laptop or away from my immediate area where my mouse and notebook are (on the sides of my laptop) and it's annoying as the cable is so stiff itself that I can't even manipulate it to lie a different way. One time I plugged it into the side of my laptop usb port on the left when my laptop was on the edge of a table as I needed the right hand side for the mouse (I don't have any ports on the back) and it sort of hung there off the table which looked and was weird though it still worked despite that!Overall it's a good SD card reader, but the usb cable is definitely too short!!!
