Yes the light leaves you at 300,000,000 metres per second. Light always travels at the same speed to the observer. The distance and time changes as viewed by a stationary observer but to you the light from your headlights appears the same as I'd you were stationary.

Q: Does this size fit in a fridge door?

That depends on the size of your fridge. It just about fits into my full-height fridge/freezer door, but it is rather tall. It it doesn't fit then you could always brew at room temp. then chill the coffee inside a smaller container.

We would recommend 80g of medium-fine ground coffee to 1L water. Leave in refrigerator for 6-8 hours until extracted & enjoy!

Q: Is the container airtight and how long does it keep the coffee for?

It isn't airtight. Best to extract coffee for 12-16 hours in fridge, then take filter chamber out. Coffee will stay good for 2-3 days this way. Delicious!
