Unnecessary additives
Contains added fat (hydrogenated palm oil), coloring, and other unnecessary hotch-potch (see attached label). . The label also shows the care the manufacturer took. Is it 200g or 220g beef per 100g product now? And the energy per 100g, is it really 1148kcal? Who knows what else they mixed up... No need to settle for this when you can buy cleaner biltong elsewhere.

The worst biltong I've ever tasted.
I thought this was going to be a bargain as its a pretty good price. Unfortunately, the taste was sour and the smells absolutely disgusting so it went straight in the bin. I'm not sure if this was gone off or if that is the way it was meant to taste. I suggest staying away from this biltong if you don't want to be disappointed, and possibly sick.

nicely flavoured and deliciously moist
OK, so I've given up drinking and taken to snacking. For some reason I have a crazing for Biltong at the moment and have tried everything I could find in M&S, Sainsburys and my local shop in the last two weeks. What can I say, Billtongman? This stuff is lovely. Not too spicy, nicely flavoured and deliciously moist, but not too moist. The pieces are large enough to actually pick up and chew, no tiny grainy bits at the bottom of the bag, totally the right thickness as well, for me.Bloody good job I must say and great value compared to the £2 you will pay for 25g of this stuff, far inferior in supermarkets. The only thing which could possibly make this any better would be a resealable bag, but that's not a criticism - I'll just have to eat it faster!

Not spicy but do the job
These need more kick. If I wanted bland flavouring I would have bought the regular version. The manufacturer need to be a bit less frugal in the chilli sauce they are using or rename the version to "lightly spiced for the British"Other than that they are a good bit of snack to enjoy during a film or tv show to keep the chocolate at bay.

delicious & not chewy
Biltong is slowly getting noticed as a great snacking food. So, there are a lot of alternatives available.Well, I've tried a few & I assumed all Biltong was chewy & an effort to eat.I was very surprised by how different The Biltong Man's Biltong is.Delicious, really full of flavour small pieces & yes, soft & tender so still chewy but not an effort to chew & definitely does not take an effort to eat.Go on, give this a try, you deserve better.I did not receive this product FOC as I placed an order via amazon.co.uk just like any customer so this is my impartial review.

Peri-Peri Biltong
Finally biltong that doesn't have any fat on it. I had to hide it from my husband and nephew who couldn't stop eating it. Going to have to buy more as it is easier than bring it from Cape Town. Haven't seen if the biltong man does chilli sticks, hope he does. great buy.My nephew loved it so much he ordered some online only for it not to arrive and he was given a refund. But he was glad it didn't because he saw that he could buy a kilo of this biltong which he has now bought.

Excellent Biltong and Droewors
I believe I've now tried all the flavours that biltong man does and, I can say quite categorically, it's amazing. I took some to my friend Zimby's house to share with his friends from Rhodesia and SA whilst having a braii wknd, and they all loved it, and they would know more than me, it's their national fruit I think!! Lol. I sincerely hope it gives biltong man more business, he definitely gets our vote! And the Droewors is, as they would say, 'Lakker' man.. 😉😉
