Silicone Model Promoted Great Hydrophobic Properties - Filthy (graphite? graphene?) Coating However
The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this purchase. I couldn't find the correct PIAA silicone blade set for my Tesla Model Y, but this refill cost a fraction of the price (maybe 1/8th) and was easy enough to fit in the OEM arms with minimal cutting and modifying. After a few uses, the hydrophobic properties are starting to build up which is the primary reason I wanted to find silicone blades. These also seem softer than the OEM blades which would absolutely scream in freezing weather. These sound almost chalky and soft. They don't leave any streaks and help to build up that nice water repelling film.Only down side, the blades are FILTHY with what seems to be graphite? graphene? Not sure, but man did this get my hands dirty. For $80, the PIAA silicone option is still worth it to me but was unavailable for my vehicle. This is definitely the next best thing and at SO much less cost.

Works well on my Tesla Model Y so far for over 6months.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Honestly, just perfect. I replaced it on my Tesla model y and now it has been working well for over half a year. No water streaks and no squeaky noise. I’m buying more for my mom and will only be buying this because it works great and is great value. As long as you spend a little time taking the wiper apart

Work great. Very inexpensive. But short life
This is the best way to go if you have wiper blades that accept inserts. Search YouTube for videos for you vehicle model and details on how to install. Usually super easy. Just make sure you get the correct profile for your vehicle. These cost a fraction of the full wiper blade replacements and generally work better, since you are keeping your factory blades, which of course fit your windshield better than any generic blade. In my experience, these only last about a year before they start chattering. But are so inexpensive you dont mind replacing them that often.

Cost Effective Wiper Refill, doesnt fit lock into place on Toyota/Lexus Refills.
They may be a universal fit, though if you're using them on a Lexus/Toyota they might come off on fast wiping. The refilling is simple enough now what these refills lack is the proper channel for the metal insert to hook onto, so during the wiping if not set right into the blade they will come losing and you will see metal clanking all over the place. It took me about 30-60 minutes to get these properly fit and not fall out, compared to 5 min using an OEM refill. I never felt so frustrated on something that should be quick.I think it's better to spend the extra $3 at Toyota Parts and get the proper refill fit and save your frustration on getting these to stay in place. They refill wipes well, but not thick material compared to an OEM one as well.

Excellent
I had my doubts, but this actually works fantastic and are of supreme quality at a fraction of the price of new blades.

Initial performance is excellent
Installed fine on Hyundai palisade. Brought 28" and trimmed to fit. (don't throw away your steel guide strips you will need it because it doesn't come with clips) then to stop strip from sliding out I use the wiper frame and squeezed each ends to clamp down on the silicone. It's confirmed as silicone it feel just like silicone and absolutely not a rubber. This should last two year opposed to rubber only lasting almost a year. If this silicone blend is bad and has shorter life I will return to update the review. The black residue is the special water beading coating to be transferred to your windshield. (you won't be able to see any black residue on your windshield) I tested performance immediately after installing with water hose and it doesn't streak at all with oem steel multi joint wiper frame not one of those bullshit plastic frame with one leave spring inside which doesn't give as consist gradual pressure across length of wipers. Those plastic frame rely on downforce of headwind when driving.

Will not fit 2010 Toyota Highlander
I ordered the 4-pack silicon wiper refills and these are high quality silicon blades for a great price if you can get them to work on your vehicle. They are like wet noodles cut from a continuous roll and you must re-use the metal spines in your existing blades - no issue with that. You must also use gloves to handle these as they are covered in what looks like graphite dust. They are the exact width to fit my 2010 Highlander, and the other two Toyotas I have, but there is a problem with the height and they will not slide into the groves on the factory wiper arm properly. Also for these to work, the wiper arms must have end stops that contain the blade and prevent it from sliding out. None of my Toyotas have end stops on the factory wiper arms - the blades must have a molded slot or clip on one end to stop the blade from sliding out. These replacement blades do not have this, so return to sender....

The BEST Unknown Car Product!
Did you know that you're wasting money every time you purchase wiper blades?!?! It's true! The beam part is almost never needing replaced. The only part that contacts the windshield is a thin little strip (blade - that you've likely seen coming off on some cheaper blades). Unless you have problems with the integrated springs inside your wiper beam that push the blade against the windshield, you really only need this replacement blade insert.***Attention***This insert requires you have a COMPATIBLE wiper blade. Some "high" end wiper blades - particularly the 'beam' style have integrated beam/blade designs that don't allow replacement of the blade. Boo!Most other 'all-season' style wipers allow replacements with varying difficulty. I recommend the Aero wiper blades (also super cheap here on Amazon) because they have the easiest method of replacing the blade part. It literally takes maybe 30 seconds. You can watch YouTube videos on how to do it, but you just slide the blade down a half inch, pull it out, and slide the new blade in. Some wipers you have metal tracks that have to be lined up so it's a little more difficult, but once you get a beam that works good for replacement blades you're set for many years of cheap replacements. No more paying $20+ PER WIPER replacement!
