I really like the Street Kitchen line of products. They are all high quality ingredients and easy to follow instructions. The Indian Butter chicken is our favorite - so much amazing flavor!The only thing that is a little bit off are the instructions to cook it for twenty minutes - that is way too long for smaller pieces of chicken which are already partially cooked. I cut the cooking time down to ten minutes (using 2" cubes of chicken) and it comes out perfectly. Tender chicken with lots of flavor. I also uncover the skillet for the last five minutes to help it thicken up. Since stoves do vary, try it the first time following their instructions. I have a gas stove and it tends to cook things more quickly.The only other place I have found this dish - where it was equal to the Kitchen Street - is in a great restaurant in Franklin. I prefer to save the travel time and make this at home.If you like using pre-made packets for easier cooking, I highly recommend the Kitchen Street line.

I’m generally not a fan of cooking kits/sauces but the Street Kitchen Butter Chicken is fantastic. It’s my little secret — everyone thinks it’s completely homemade, and it’s become a regular family favorite. Definitely add a good amount of half & half a few minutes before serving. You’ll want more of the delicious sauce and it’s makes it even more rich and creamy. Yum.

Bought this at the local superstore. I have had different brands of butter chicken before, but this was my first time trying Street Kitchen. The strong odor from the package made it so that I couldn't keep it in the pantry with my other things, so I set it in a dish on the counter until I wanted to make it. It stunk up the kitchen quite thoroughly. Guess it's freshness and fragrance can't be denied. It's easy to make, just add chicken and rice/naan. I will not buy it again, however, due to the strong, very unpleasant bitter taste. So strong, I couldn't taste the tomato or the garlic or the chicken. I assume it was one of the herbs, but since they are just listed as "herbs and spices," I don't know what it was. Possibly fennel? Also found some large pods of (hopefully) some sort of herb that was not pleasant to find. Long-lasting, strong bitter aftertaste too. Had one serving, tossed the rest.

It is easy to make and I like the kit. You can buy this in the market for under $3 so the Amazon price is outrageously expensive. I would recommend buying in your local market where you can spend 1/3 cost.

This is my favorite Street Kitchen kit. I think that the price of the Butter Chicken on Amazon is the highest but it may be because this particular kit is being discontinued. I would not give this anything less than 5 stars! I cube up my chicken and get it in the garlic ginger paste and actually add a little bit more of my own ginger and garlic powder because I love spices. The herbs are nice and the curry has a wonderful buttery flavor. A heavy cream makes it smooth but start out with less because it doesn’t take much. This is a flavorful dish for my family of 3 and even a 10 year old loves it!

After a long day at work, relieved I had this in my pantry to make for a quick dinner. Delicious, the spice packet definitely makes it, will keep this in stock in my pantry from now on. I think the price is right as well.

I love these kits. Indian Butter Chicken being my favorite. But certainly not from this seller. you can get these from Wal-Mart for $2.98 all day long for the same size. There is no need to extort to the level this seller is.
