I’ve tried a lot of natural deodorants, and this one stands out. The Cedarwood scent is super refreshing—earthy without being too strong—and lasts all day. After about 6 hours, you can do a smell test and still smell the freshness. I like that it’s not full of harsh chemicals and still manages to keep sweat and odor under control, even during workouts or long days out. It goes on smoothly, with no weird residue, and it feels good knowing it’s made sustainably and cruelty-free. Bonus points for the rosemary and thyme—nice touch. A tried and tested staple in my routine!

This is the hardest to apply deodorant I’ve ever experienced. It’s like a mixture of wax and glue, it’s so hard and sticky that it actually pulls out hair every time I use it.The packaging also gets an F from me. I previously purchased a stick of Every Man Jack deodorant locally and enjoyed it, the smell was pleasant and it was easy to apply and it was aluminum free. When I saw the picture of this I ordered it assuming it was the same stick I previously liked only to find I ordered the wrong stick because this has aluminum and is also an antiperspirant. Everything between labels for the two different sticks appears identical except for some fine print where one says DEODORANT and the other says ANTIPERSPIRANT + DEODORANT.

This stuff works great four swipes under the arms and no odor all day. Doesn't seem to have much of a fragrance.

I am reviewing the Amber+Sandalwood scent.On the positive side - it works pretty well as an antiperspirant.On the negative side - it doesn't smell remotely like sandalwood. It smells more like playdough. So if you're looking for playdough scented antiperspirant, this would be perfect.

I switched to this brand looking for a sandalwood-scented deodorant. I had used a Tom's brand antiperspirant for years and liked it, but they don't make this scent so I went looking. There are a lot of critical reviews of this deodorant, but I wanted to give a review that is fair.Ingredients/Antiperspirant - They aren't hiding it. This product has aluminum in it. There isn't another deodorant that prevents sweat without aluminum. I have looked. If I could find a product that was equally effective without aluminum in it I would use it. I compared the other ingredients with similar products like Dove brand deodorant and felt more comfortable with the ingredients in the Every Brand Jack product and felt more comfortable with this product. It lines up well to my Tom's brand.Effectiveness - It works as well as my former Tom's brand antiperspirant and I am happy with it.Scent - it has a great smell which is subtle. I have received compliments for the smell. So works for me.Residue on shirts - this is no different from other antiperspirants. I wear undershirts to protect my dress shirts and have not had any problems.Cost - I do think it is slightly too expensive. It costs more than other similar products like my former Tom's brand antiperspirant. I get that this is a bit of a premium product that utilizes a wider range of more natural ingredients. But I don't think the premium should be this high.

I was looking for the best overall cost per ounce for a natural antiperspirant /deodorant, and found this Every Man Jack sandalwood scent appealing and a good cost. It isn't too strong, like many men's deodorants are; as a woman this was appealing. I was happy with the stick I got at a local store and when it was time to replace it, I saw the option to get it on Amazon. To my disappointment, I'm having to return the ones I bought on Amazon. They expire December 2025 and the scent has an underlying oil that has gone bad note to it. In contrast, the stick that I was replacing is valid until April 2026 and the small remaining bit has a nice clean sandalwood scent. I don't know if it's just that the expiration date is wrong and shouldn't be so long? Or perhaps the deodorant was stored in a warehouse where it was exposed to heat? Whatever the case, I don't plan on getting it through Amazon again.Overall, the product itself works decently enough for me for an antiperspirant. But my body is acclimated to the more natural ingredient deodorant/anti-perspirants having used them for years, and I don't need it to help with any large amount of sweat, I'm sure, partly, due to my sex.
