Q: is this better than the sv-175?

My young grandson has both and he prefers the SV-500 as his main violin with a graphite bow. He uses the SV 175 as his practice violin but both are good. The SV-500 is very attractive and he has been proud of it. Both have good tone.

outfit means without all the extra stuff they sell you to get more money out of you.With outfit you do get the case the bow and even comes with a rosin in it and of course the violin :)

Q: Is the packaging well? Was the violin safely packaged

very well insulated,could be dropped from a one story building no problem,but know this you will have to change strings and most likely sand the bridge a little for this violin too sound very good and play very comfortable,or take it to a luthier but if you look on youtube anyone with patience can fix this bridge.
