Classroom Camera
I love how sleek it looks. It is very easy to move around. The picture is clear. The quality and size of the stand is good for my desk. I did have trouble figuring out how to get it to turn on. I had to YouTube a video, the book also suggests doing this. I’m still playing around with it to figure out all the functions. I purchased for my classroom to update my old one.

Where has THIS gadget been all my teacher life!??
I hemmed and hawed over making this purchase for my classroom, but finally took the plunge and I'm so glad I did!! Before Apple TV came along, we were given "ELMOS" - those larger document cameras that you had to hook to your overhead projector and your laptop, blah blah. It was all I ever knew - but I loved the quality and heft of it. When I moved schools, I didn't have one. I really missed it for read alouds and modeling writing in my K-2 special needs classroom. So I bought this guy. It's compact, but sturdy. It comes with a cord that plugs into my macbook. All I have to do is turn on my projector, and then open QuickTime Player, and hit "record" and it displays via my projector. Super easy to hook up and get going! Highly recommend!

Works as it should
So if you’re just looking at this for document viewing, go for it. Quality build, easy to use, you can adjust the view by flipping it vertically or horizontally with buttons, autofocus, etc. if you want this as a webcam which it will do, I just found it hard to get everything lined up and orientation correct. Probably just me because you’re doing things in reverse, so I’ll give it a 5 anyway. But it was annoying. Chord was long enough and you’re not tied down to the immediate computer area. You’ll be happy with it and it folds up nicely.

Takes a bit of playing before it works as you think it should.
First off, the instructions are wrong on the light control. You have to press the light ring itself to get the 3 settings and off. The auto-focus is nowhere as near as sharp as it should be. Wish it had a contrast control. The top lamp control buttons do not control the lamp. Do not know what they do. The invert and flip controls work as they should. That all being said, for a $54 document camera it is quite good. Be gentle with moving the arms since they are a mix of metal and plastic and breaking the arm would ruin your day.

Works Great for Online Tarot Readings
This works great without having a lot of technical knowledge. I am able to show the cards on my table and talk about them using my headset. The maximum cards that can be shown at one time, is 3-6. So, larger spreads can't be viewed in their entirety. I would like to have a larger field of view for teaching. The autofocus works great and the flipping of the images works great too. It's relatvely compact to store. If you aren't sure something like this is for you, this is a great entry model. It won't break the bank, it works great, the focus is great, and the switching of cameras is okay. I wish I could do it a little faster, because I do switch back and forth a lot. I haven't had to use the attached light, but it works well.

Simple to use, surprisingly good resolution.
This is an easy to use digital accessory capable of substituting for an old timey overhead projector. It plugs into a USB A port, or with the included adapter, to USB C, and can be opened by selecting it as a camera in Windows. I was able to display what my hands were crafting by sharing my desktop in Zoom and having the camera open full screen. The resolution is very good for the price of the device, and adjusting the light’s brightness improves the resolution from being too washed out if bright or too hard to see if dim. Controls are all in one easy spot and are very intuitive. The camera folds down pretty flat, but I’m keeping the box to store it in. Out of the box, it takes about as much room in a carry-on bag as a hair straightener or curling iron. I may purchase a second one and donate it to my quilt guild. Business Traveler Husband is eyeing it with envy, so maybe I’m buying three?

Inconsistent
I plugged in the camera when it first arrived and it worked great and right away! Even though the box was damaged. The clarity was decent, it showed up full screen on my computer, the LED light was a nice touch, and it was easily set up. However, when I went to use it today and it just will not work. It was working for maybe 2 minutes and then it just stopped. The LED circle light won’t even turn on so I’m assuming no power is going to it. I tried to troubleshoot shoot on my own but nothing is working. My computer is not even recognizing that I have plugged something in.
