Q: what is the actual glass diminsions of the long section?

I have the 19" by 19" unit. It is nice and is pretty with the fire but the glass sections are secured with short set screws and if they are not tight then the whole unit falls apart when you try to move it and you can loose one of the screws which I did.

Q: How do the glass guards work when cover in place? Like the idea of them but would also like clean look when not in use???

They work great. Gets warm but there are warnings on the glass. Looks nice and clean when not in use.

Q: I received my order and the package is missing 3 screws for the glass. Can you please assist with sending the remaining screws?

Yes, the manufacturer just throws the screws in. We had enough but some were stuck in the corner pieces. It was frustrating but once together we liked it. You would need to contact the manufacturer.
