Q: Does this come packaged in an ice pack?

Ice packs are not included when your order is fulfilled by Amazon and are included when fulfilled by merchants listing offers to ship with ice and the buyer sees clearly the ice pack is included when making their purchase. More importantly, however than the question as to whether the product comes with an ice pack or not is the question regarding necessity of an ice pack. It's significant to note that while many buyers of Klaire Labs probiotics insist these products require refrigeration to ship, the manufacturer does not. The manufacturer reports in their summer 2011 update on probiotics; "At Klaire Labs®, we conduct real-time stability studies on all our probiotic products to assess their long-term viability at both refrigerated and room temperatures. Data we've obtained from independent laboratory tests indicate our products maintain a relatively high degree of stability at room temperature for up to five months and then gradually begin to lose potency (see graph below). This suggests that while our probiotics require refrigeration to maintain viability over time, they do not quickly die off at room temperatures. Products may be taken out of the refrigerator for weeks or even months without a significant loss of viable organisms. Products shipped to customers with cold packs also retain excellent viability even if the cold packs are thawed and the product no longer feels cold to the touch at the time of arrival. To further ensure the potency of our products, we routinely formulate with "overages" so that even small losses of activity that may occur during shipping, handling, and storage are insignificant."

Q: How big are the capsules? I have trouble taking large ones.

I take the powder form which has 100+ billion cfu's. You can just sprinkle it on your food. Easy and effective.

Q: Is this product shipped with dry ice? i live in florida so this product will get hot fast and needs to be sent in a temperature controlled evmmt.

No, it is not sent with dry ice. I have ordered it twice - the first time it was just wrapped in bubble wrap - the second there were some ice packs added.
