Very happy
This kit came with all we needed aside from the tape. We went with 3 coats of primer instead of 2 coats because our original counters were so dark.Definitely use the practice board before applying to the countertop. And using a reference/mapping out the direction of the veins was an excellent tip. The veining application was a lot of fun and even seeing our larger veins, I’d say less is more. You can always add more. The blotting with the paper towel helped give dimension to the veins. We stuck to the time span for each step to allow for proper drying and curing. Overall, it turned out beautifully! We couldn’t be happier. Follow the directions exactly and all should go well.

Beautiful and durable
I did a lot of research and saw that most people preferred this one more than the rustoleum. It doesn't bubble up as bad and apparently can handle the heat better. My handyman did my counter for me and said it was very easy to use.And I absolutely love the results.

Following instructions does NOT guarantee a proper cure.
Followed instructions exactly as directed. Even waited like 10 days instead of the recommended 7 for the counter to "cure" before placing any items back on counter. There was one quarter-sized area that stayed wet/tacky, tried what the company recommended with acetone to no avail. Really do love the look, BUT there is an entire portion of my counter that anything that is set on it, makes an indentation. The counter felt cured, hard to the touch, shiny, but low and behold it clearly was defected as everything, even the lightest of candle, leaves indents. So disappointed.

DIY anyone can do
The media could not be loaded. Was impressed with how it turned out. Read the instructions multiple times and watch the video. If you do everything the instructions say it’s hard to mess up. Worst part is pouring the epoxy. It’s messy and goes everywhere. I used lots of plastic to protect my floors and cabinets. I wore clothes I didn’t care if ruined. I found if I dripped the epoxy on the back of my backsplash ( since it is curved and is about 4 inches) with the stir stick first and the used the paint brush it worked best. For the cost it’s a good dupe. Wonder how it will hold up through out the year.

Not for everyone
The product was alright, though the resin coating isn’t the best. It’s not very durable / you could easily damage the counter after the resin is cured. The painting isn’t easy if you’re not a creative person to begin with - but it’s fun if you are someone who enjoys painting. It also comes with a good guide that explains how to do each type of paint. After painting I poured a coat of resin, and there were a lot of bubbles / weird hard pieces in the resin. I assumed it was from poor mixing and sanded it off and tried again (after it had time to sit and cure for a week). The second time I mixed the resin, I used a drill and a mixing attachment and had better luck. I still had some imperfections, but it was way better. The resin isn’t fully hard, though. I’ve had it on there a few weeks (about 5), and if I place something heavy on the resin it sinks in and leaves a dent.I also had to do a lot of sanding (up to 3000 grit) and then polish the resin, to get it to look right. If you’re not an already-handy person, I wouldn’t recommend this product. If you’re using it on a frequently-used surface, I also wouldn’t recommend this product.

Amazing and easy DIY
Literally the best! They walk you through everything in videos / instructions AND have full time phone / text support! I was communicating with someone throughout the whole process! Jacob from Giana and I went on a journey 😅. I was hesitant to mess it up bc it was granite, but I LOVE how it turned out! Still need to add some white caulk to the edges.
