Nice Good Value All-In-One Endoscope
Bought to see under the bonnet of my car as the bonnet release jammed. Decided to get an "all-in-one" unit rather than one that is used with a mobile phone as my smartphone doesn't have both "OTG and USB UVC" functionality and I wanted a reliable device, that didn't require my phone to use it.The device works very well with a clear picture on the screen, good illumination and focus, with a very long endoscope cable. It's quite a flexible cable but easy enough to direct to the area I needed to view. It can be a bit difficult to orientate the cable so the image is the right way up. The long cable sometimes makes holding the screen unit and directing the cable a bit of a handful, but I was able to achieve my objective.I'd recommend this dedicated endoscope device over an add-on unit for use with a mobile phone. It avoids compatibility problems, dodgy apps and software that don't work, all for very little extra cost.

Brilliant for the money.
Really good item, it helped me find a part number on a really hard to reach alternator on a car. The picture is nice and clear. The angle of the camera can be a little hard to control but I think that would be the same for any camera like this. It’s a good quality image and the light makes it easy to see what you are looking for. The only downside is you can’t take a picture of what you are looking, I did try using the camera on my phone to take a picture of the picture but the glare on the screen wouldn’t allow this (the glare isn’t there when you are using the item though)It’s really easy to use - just connect the camera, switch it on and off you go. The cable is flexible enough and can be bent into position, I don’t think it would follow a curve though but for what I need it for that is better as it stays in the position I need. All in all for the price paid (around £30ish) it was an absolute bargain and I have used it several times where I wouldn’t have been able to previously.

Did the job that I was looking for it to do
I bought this camera after failing with the one you plug into a phone. Besides OTG giving me a headache on my phone the image on this camera is far more superior. Plus the built in screen makes it a more versatile tool. More secure also as your not downloading a sketchy app or two to just use it. It's easy to use and arrived very fast. Seeing it was not much difference in price compared to the plug into a phone models I was truly surprised.Only difference was this has a hard cable compared to the plug in one I bought being not as rigid. However this suited my needs better as I could angle it manually how I needed it.Bought it to look inside a washing machine that was not working. Helped me direct a tool in to fix the problem without taking the whole machine apart. So saved me that repair cost and alreadly paid for itself. Have plans to use it on my car next. Check the engine when I change the spark plugs etc. Really handy tool to use even for someone like me which is every now and again cause it was affordable and easy to use.

Nice little gadget
A few years ago a chap arrived at our house to survey it for cavity wall insulation. To do this, he drilled a small hole in the external wall, and used an endoscope to look inside the cavity.I was amazed at this gadget. But now, just a few years later, I have essentially the same tool. And it cost me around £35.I was able to use the same hole in the brickwork (which he said he would fill in, but didn't) to test this endoscope. I saw what he saw. There was already insulation there from the 1970s. But that's another discussion topic. So, what you get here for not-a-lot-of-money is a gadget with a lot of positives. For example, it uses a rechargeable battery. I've had it running for around 40 minutes so far, after a full charge, and it's still showing all three bars of battery. You can use it while charging, by the way, so no matter how long the battery lasts, you could use this all day if you also carry a battery bank. The endoscope charges using standard USB-A, so you can use an old phone charger normally. You get a nice long cable on the endoscope, and it's waterproof, too. I diagnosed a problem with a constantly-blocking sink drain using it.The one thing you do not get is the ability to plug in an SD card and save your pics/video. There's no Bluetooth or wifi, either, and it doesn't need an app. So, this is a tool be to be used for live diagnostics only. The endoscope does not work as a webcam, so you cannot plug it into a PC and watch the output there. The screen is nice and bright. It's a little difficult to see in bright sunshine, but this is true of virtually every LCD screen, including most smartphones. There's a host of controls to make the image more legible, such as switching it to black and white, or increasing/decreasing the contrast. You can also press to flip the image 180 degrees, which really helps make sense of what you're seeing. The camera focusses from about 2cm to infinity, so you can also use this for peeping around a corner without being noticed, or slipping under a closed door to peek into another room, if that kind of thing interests you.Add in the included neat tools that attach to the end, including a magnet, and you've a pretty nice tool here for those occasional tasks that demand it.
