Works good, at a good price.
They hold the cartridges well, without being difficult to press in or press out. They work well.

These are better than the split model
TK customs makes another model clip with split tines that get damaged when using the unloading tool; these are not damaged and they're less expensive.

Better than the factory moon-clips.
So far, so good... They are noticeably stronger and sturdier feeling than the 2 provided by S&W with my 627 Performance Center. Ive tried a few different brand of ammunition. The cheapo PPU range ammo is tight. The Cor Bon DPX defensive rounds have a little bit of "slop" so care must be taken when reloading to make sure you line the rounds up in the cylinder. Over all I am happy, and I think they are worth the money. I got them quickly too.

Persnickety
They bend easily, I'd rather give up the extra seconds and use speed straps.Before you think, "skill issue" I did also invest in the proper tools to use them.

Quality product
Works perfectly in my S&W 327 TRR8.Mine are .025 blued moons, and with Remington ammo, they load easy and hold pretty tight with just a tiny amount of wobble in the rounds, which I see as a plus as a little wobble (not to much) speeds the reload.I WAS able to get these to work with Winchester brass, but they are very tight, holding the rounds ramrod strait. I can see why TK does not recommend these for Winchester, and I think the moon clips will not last to many reloads being that tight. Being tight, the reload is a little slower, and I needed to insert the loaded clip into the cylinder a couple of times to ensure things were going to load smoothly when the time came. With Remington, the whole thing slides in with just gravity. So while you can use these in a pinch for Winchester, I wouldn't plan on going there. I'd buy a thinner TK moon clip.

Not universal
Using Magtech .38 Spl factory ammo, these clips will not line up with the cylinder. I tried several clips and none of them would allow the rounds to drop into my S&W 627.

Great Moon Clips. OEM from Smith and Wesson.
My new S&W 627 came with TK moon clips.Here is my what I found with three different ammunition manufacturers:Sig Sauer ammunition fits without clip modification. A little loose.Federal American Eagle will fit if you file and polish the clips. Very tight.PMC will not fit even after filing and polishing the clips.
