Love these. They arrived nicely packed. I'm up to my ears in delicious, hand baked English Muffins!
My son, who is fairly new at baking, gave me a recipe for English Muffins. Enter my husband having a kidney stone, and all the dietary changes. Luckily, it includes that he can have English Muffins, and then....I bought a package and had sticker shock! So, the recipe recommended (but didn't require) these sorta rings. These looked really good - well finished with no sharp edges (I take a blood thinner, so cuts are something to avoid, if I can). I tried the recipe out and here we are! They aren't your standard store bought, but I like them better!!!These rings worked really well for them. The muffins popped right out (I sprayed them lightly first before putting the dough in) and the muffins had well developed walls. Photos attached. They are almost gone - time to make another batch. With pleasure! I love these rings! What a great tool.

Great for egg sandwiches
I haven't used these to make crumpets or muffins. Yet.I plan on it, but that will be a weekend experiment. What I did make was egg sandwiches. These made perfect sized, perfectly round eggs for sandwiches. I used the 4" variety and they were exactly the right size for what I needed.I preheated my skillet until it was about where I wanted it - I put the crumpet ring in so it would heat up with the skillet. That was part of my plan to make sure the edges of the egg cooked when I cracked it into the ring. Right before I cracked the egg into the ring, I added a little butter and made sure some got on the sides of the mold. I know they are non-stick, but a little butter never hurts with eggs.I cracked the egg into it and let it cook for about 2 min on a med-high heat. I definitely got some leakage under the ring but otherwise, it turned out exactly as expected. After about 2 min, I was able to remove the ring, it held it's shape, I flipped it and finished cooking. It turned out great! For experiment #2, I did the exact same thing but I applied a little pressure on the top of the ring after I dropped the egg into it so nothing leaked under the ring. It only needs pressure for about 10-15 seconds until the egg begins to set so it none of the egg white runs under it. After that, it cooked just like the last one. This wouldn't really be an issue with something thicker like muffin or crumpet batter because the thicker batter wouldn't run under the rings.Great set, in my opinion. Quite a bit of versatility, and definitely something that will stay in my drawer of various baking items!

Great!
These work wonderful for baking English muffins. They are very easy to clean and easy to use. I have been needing something like these for a while now so I am very pleased that these works so well. They help shape the muffins perfectly.

Kool Crumpet rings...
This DATANYA 8Pack Crumpet Rings NONSTICK English Muffin Rings 4 Inch were really nice. They're lightweight. They had a good amount that came with them so we could cook for the entire family. Our eggs and meat structure sandwiches came out pretty well, as I call them. The rings were pretty sturdy, but they definitely were not heavy like I expected somehow, although they didn't get stuck to the pan and everything came out just fine and stayed in its particular ring. Our kids really enjoyed having their own McMuffin, LOL, something for them to do and stay inside the lines with, I suppose. But yeah, these were really nice and I love the black sleek color of them, almost like a charcoal gray with sparkles. Thank you.

These are amazing for muffin-sized eggs!
We used them this morning to cook up some perfectly round, buttery scrambled eggs. Well, okay, the first one was a bit of trial and error. Basically, you need to wait for the pan and ring to get nice and hot, and THEN add your liquid of choice (egg, batter, or what have you), which will keep it from leaking out under the lip.Like I said, the second one came out perfectly round. The first one was a little misshapen but that was entirely user error (i.e. me not knowing how to cook with these things yet)They're going to be a breakfast staple from now on though!
