Quality
Have used either Craftsman or Klein for my 40+ years as an electrician. Much prefer a wood rule over a tape measure. Inside read is the way to go as it is natural when measuring conduit for bends. I was given a Milwuakee Plastic rule but did not like it. I don't like the 7 " sections and the numbers are printed upside down versus the Klein. I had a prefectly good Milwaukee and gave it to an apprentice and bought myself a new Klein. Do wish it had the 6" depth reader but these do not seem to be available on any inside read rule.

Read both sides from one end.
This rule can be read from both sides from the same end. It helps when laying the rule down from any point and being able to keep the rule flat without the unfolded side holding the rule off the wood. It is easy to read and tight to unfold. I would recommend this rule. It is priced well for what it does. I will buy again rather than look everywhere for one in a store.

Perfect
For me, have a hard time reading and balancing the new flexible tape measures. This does the job for me

Sturdier than Lufkin 6' Rule
Have always had a 6' rule in my toolbox and unfortunately broke mine. I first bought a Lufkin, but the quality and fit and finish was lacking. So I ordered the Klein and it is much better.

Will not last forever
Klein tools are every electricians best buddy (Knipex hand tools are also)The rule is the perfect but needs to be coated w Clear acrylic spray paint or clear nail polish to keep from wearing on outside of rule. The rivets aren’t “forever” rated so u will need to replace depending on use. It will break but the crappy fiberglass are worse.

Excellent tool!
Expensive but well made. I always used to use Lufkin Red-End sticks, but they have turned to junk.

Undeclared CA Prop 65 Warning
The product itself seems to be what it advertises: a folding wooden ruler. However, the seller doesn't mention that it carries a CA Prop 65 warning on the package. These warnings are supposed to mention the chemical that prompted the warning, but the manufacturer couldn't be bothered. I know some people are jaded about these warnings, but I think that manufacturers and sellers should know about and clearly disclose any potentially hazardous chemicals in their products so buyers can make informed decisions. This seller and manufacturer are barely even trying. Who knows what's in this product? They "helpfully" suggest to wash your hands after using it. Buyer beware!
