Excellent aromatics and color! I was looking for creating an amazingly special table for my family and friends this season - and this particular saffron caught my attention. I’ve been buying saffron for many years. But I wanted something more (how do I say it : correct??). So I did some research and eventually chose this product.Then I tried it. Wow! My batch of homemade New Mexican tamales and Spanish paella were not only visually gorgeous and appealing (see pic), but the most wonderful-crazy thing was the flavor! = it was absolutely Amazing! I plan on acquiring more of this excellent product.A beautifully crafted product!

I bought this saffron because I could not find my favorite one. I was surprised by the packaging that looks like an eye palette make up. I thought it was bling bling and maybe not appropriate to conserve this precious, but volatile spice flagrance. I had bought it to make a paella and used most of the 3 gr I had acquired. Saffron is not cheap so I really expected my dish to be tasty. It was. All is all I am 50/50 because I am concerned by the use of plastic for our planet and especially for our kids. What planet are we living behind us, what future? I think it is time each of us become responsible. I think that a recyclable jar WITH A RECYCLABLE lid would be more adequate. Maybe cheaper too. More professional also. To be honest if I had paid attentionto the packaging I probably would have not picked up this one. Now it is a good saffron.
