Less expensive than using health insurance
This works perfectly for my husband. He says it's comfortable and can be adjusted to his liking. I like it because it costs less to purchase through Amazon than going through our health insurance provider.

Not perfect, but easier than going through my insurance and approved vendor
I previously had nose pillows and started having a problem with them. They just weren't sitting right after using them for a few years and I wanted to try something different. While I maybe you should have gone through the approved vendor that sold me it that is affiliated with the hospital, quite frankly I don't like their prices and I don't want to have to go through the whole deal of setting up an appointment and doing that. You know... And that whole insurance thing. I get tired of having to jump through hoops so purchasing it on Amazon just seemed like not such an awful thing. It took me a minute to figure out which headgear went with which face mask. But I eventually figured it out. When it arrived I was concerned thinking that I had bought the wrong one, but there were a little tiny pieces in the Box that I didn't see when I opened it.It fits my head kind of weird. I'm not sure if it's because of the size, or if I have a weird shaped head, but I have to pull down the top more towards the middle of my head, and the bottom fits more towards the top of my neck. The center triangle gets kind of scrunched up back there and doesn't fit smoothly. That being said, Everything feels very firm and sturdy. The stitching seems to be nice. I have to play with the velcro a little bit every night to Get It On ( I love how I am writing this review using voice to text and it capitalizes the letters in Get It On).I did notice that in some of the reviews people mentioned that it did not have the Respironics label on it. Mine absolutely has the Respironics logo on the back and it doesn't look any different than what I have seen in the past.Well the fit of the headgear is a little bit off, when's combined with the face mask I am getting a good fit that I am wearing throughout the night so it appears that I made a good decision.

Yay! OEM Respironics Headgear Replacements Whenever you Need to Replace Them.
Oh my goodness! I was so happy to find these. Normally I have to order through the original dealer that I chose when I first got the prescription for a Respironics C-PAP machine and they (and every other service) follow the rules of Medicare - even before I was on Medicare about how often you can order this. The rule is only one every six months OR you can get the whole mask (plastic holder, the gel form and soft cover, and strap) every 3 months (a lot more expensive - especially if you don't really need all of the parts). Well they don't last 3 months -- the hard Velcro hooks attack everything but the soft loops get worn out and so the hook part doesn't stay that well. I finally figured out that you try to leave some of it attached (instead of opening and closing so much) and use only lukewarm water not hot (never used hot but pretty warm before) to wash them about once a week or so. I ordered 3 then 3 more and I am still on the first one because I am better about the water temp when cleaning. There are no directions regarding washing these, however.I got these from a marketplace dealer and now, after 5 years I am no longer under the mercy of Medicare rules. It is very unnerving to have a strap just pop off in the middle of the night but if you take care of the headgear properly and don't have to use them longer than they are useful you will love them. (and they don't cost that much to buy - just look around for the best deal)

Suprisingly good, sad to see the recent price jump
I've been using the thinner, less durable version of this since 2002, provided through a Durable Medical Equipment provider who bills my insurance at inflated prices. I bought this with my own cash and it's SO much better that I sent the Amazon page for it to my DME provider and demanded that they stop vending the cheaper-chintzo version (the Velcro grip part wears out too fast, which "just so happens" to precipitate higher sales volume for them). When the price comes back down (I paid $12,95, now it's $19.26), I'll probably buy 3 more because I'm a "CPAP Lifer" and why not have a good supply?

Good, but...
I really like this. I think it's better than the Resmed in that the velcro and straps are stronger. And I prefer its design over the Resmed, as well. The only problem for me is the skin on my scalp had a bad reaction to the material, and broke out in little itchy bumps. It's a shame because I do find this more comfortable than the Resmed. I will not be adding pictures of the bumps because no one wants to see that.
