The grinder attachment in this KitchenAid-powered set does the job as well as a standalone appliance in the $100.00 range. That said, the shredder attachments makes short work of hard cheeses and reduces cabbage and carrots to slaw in moments.

Works great with my kitchenaide like it should. Meat grinder platform is a bit smaller then anticipated but dose it's job. Easy to use and install. Easy to clean. Works with a grinding speeds.

My husband hunts and this easily processed the venison chucks used to make ground venison. I’ve never used one of these before so I definitely recommend getting as much silver skin off so you don’t have to keep cleaning it. I also recommend the largest holes for ground meat like beef, pork, or venison. But once done it was way to clean.I haven’t used the shredder attachment yet but it seems to be great quality and functionality. Definitely recommend this product!

The product I purchased is as described, it is a Christmas gift and I won’t know about it’s functionality until later.

grinder did a real good job on all the meat, chicken, pork, beef and venison. Love it. Shredder was a bit of a disappoint. Did not work on soft cheese(cheddar). will try hard cheese like parmesan or Romano. got curved slices of potato, cucumber, going back to the food processor for shredding and slicing.

Used the grinder for regrinding some already ground beef. The blade was too loose. Very flimsy. We added a homemade ring to place against the part that screwed into it to tightened the blade. Now works well Does wash easily which is good as the parts are not dishwasher safe
