I purchased this to help us detect counterfeit cash and verify check security features in the credit union office where I work. So far we haven’t found a counterfeit, fortunately, but we tested that it works very well with the lights to verify all the features in legitimate bills and checks.

Purchased this for my retail business after receiving a few counterfeit hundreds. The “pens” didn’t work because they were “washed” bills reprinted to look like hundreds.
