So grateful to be able to own one of these!
22 years ago I worked in a holistic family health practice and had my first experience with using one of these machines. I loved it, used it whenever I could at work and dreamed of one day having one of my own. Back then, they weren't as easy to find and until now they were a bit much for me to spend but as they are now fsa and hsa approved, I ordered one immediately! It shipped the next day, arrived well-packed and is even more sturdy and well-built than the one I used all those years ago. I've been using it twice per day, 15-minute sessions each time, ever since it arrived. I find it deeply relaxing, to the extent that it has helped me with a recent insomnia issue. I also noticed a marked increase in physical output, if you know what I mean, as has my husband. It seems to aid inflammation, flush excess fluid and eases any backache I'm having within moments. I'm working to heal from SIBO and this offers great comfort and honestly seems to have helped with my digestion in general already. Some folks have mentioned their ankles being uncomfortable and I have had that issue as well. I found two ways to combat that; one or two pair of extra thick socks and even used a very thin pillow on top and rested my ankles on that, and it worked well either way. Oddly, some days I feel zero ankle irritation, some days I feel it enough to use one of the aforementioned methods. It's also worth noting that you will experience different sensations and benefits depending upon how your arms are during the session. Try them at your sides, out like a cross and over your head (if that's comfortable). You'll notice a subtle but definite shift in how the movement traverses your body and each position offers unique benefits, so I usually do all three during each session.Don't do it too close to a meal or snack, and be sure to hydrate well afterwards. Start with the slowest setting and see how you do. Honestly, I've never gone above a few settings above that and don't really see the need. Some folks mentioned their knees hurting. Be sure you are positioned correctly, take it slow and certainly use a pillow beneath your knees if need be. My husband has knees which tend towards aching but he hasn't experienced any discomfort using this.Between this little gem, our far-infrared heating pad, TDP lamp and Hypervolt massager we have quite the home wellness setup now and I'm so grateful for that.

Allergies Gone!
Update after one month: I'm still totally in love with this machine. It's been a very busy month, and I've been pretty successful using it first thing in the morning, but "notsomuch" before bed. No other obvious improvements beyond allergies (which continue well controlled with little or no meds), but what I'm truly loving is listening to a meditation while I have my 15 minutes on the machine. There's always an excuse not to meditate, but now I am doing it faithfully in the mornings and truly desire to add the same before bed.I wanted to try the Chi Machine for a couple of reasons. Last fall I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder and was put on Xarelto for life. They have me on the lowest dosage, but it's still shocking to be on a medication for life, when I've never needed medications regularly before. Also, I have an unknown condition that manifests as low-level auto-immune or fungal or viral... something that manifests in skin and/or nail conditions. These are not terrible, but pesky, and it bothers me that I haven't found a way to clear them. So I wanted to try the chi machine to change the conditions in my body. I'm not absolutely sure I am doing this. I believe it will take some time to tell, but I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase so far and if something becomes apparent, I'll be back to update my results here.I've only been using my Chi Machine Vitalizer for a week. After two days of using twice a day, my allergies were gone. I've just undergone my worst allergy season ever. Sinusitis caused me to feel terrible between the beginning of October and the end of the year. I've taken Loratadine 10 mgs (OTC) twice a day for years. I usually go to the doc once a year only, but during that time period I went twice: the first time my doc was not available so I saw a new PA. He prescribed generic Singular - it did nothing. The second time my doc said I should stop taking pills ("that have to circulate through entire body before it gets to the problem"), and start on Flonase. I gave it a try but I was hesitant from the beginning because Flonase is a steroid and who wants to take steroids if you don't have to? Nonetheless, Flonase worked! My symptoms were cleared in a couple of days and I felt great for the first time in a long time. I started looking around for a homeopathic nasal spray and my daughter-in-law recommended BioAllers. I got some and, sure enough, it kept the problem at bay as well - as long as I was spraying three times a day. So my Chi Machine arrives and I start using and guess what - my allergies completely cleared in two days. It's only been a week, but if I use my Chi Machine twice a day, I never have a thought of allergies.Second, when using the Chi Machine with my hands behind my head, I found I had a very stiff right shoulder. This was a problem a few years ago, but I had no idea it had lingered on. Yet, as I used the Chi Machine, I could feel it releasing. After a week there's still a little discomfort, but it has improved every day.My advice: Get it and use it!Neither of these results was why I bought the unit. I'll update this review later with details about that.

Worth It
More expensive than others but this is the original manufacturer and the thing just works and works well. It would be nice if the ankle holders were adjustable but it really does help alleviate my lower back pain and it's fun to use.
