Portable Handheld Mini Digital Microscope for Kids - Educational Science Toys, Christmas & Birthday Gifts for Age 3-8 Girls & Boys (Pink)

This microscope was purchased as a Christmas gift for a 5 year old. I opened it to ensure it was working prior to gifting, and I’m impressed with this little tool’s performance! So much so that I went to order the purple version for my son’s upcoming 5th birthday. The body of the device is a little grippy which will be easy for small hands to manage, the buttons are intuitive and clearly marked, and the camera automatically focuses - if it’s blurry, just back off a little or move forward a little and the camera does the rest of the work for you. We got this item on sale for under twenty five dollars, and I think it’s a great value and will be a perfect gift. I can’t speak to durability or battery life, yet, but I will update my review if needed down the line.

I thought it was going to be too hard for my 4 years old son but he loves it, he wants to use it everyday! And I haven’t put the memory card yet! You just have to put the microscope all the way to the bottom touching the surface, and it works better with insects that don’t move too much, also something small as an ant is perfect but we can’t find anything yet.

The microscope for kids did a great job of showing the small details in everyday items. You must keep the microscope the correct distance from the object for proper focus, but this is easy to do with the built-in standoff around the edge of the microscope. The built-in light does a great job of illuminating the object being viewed. Even as an adult, I found it interesting to go around and look at objects.

It is worth the money. It has up to 4 times zoom and it is a great picture quality. It does take and store photos taken.

Picture was blurry and out of focus no matter how much you try to adjust it. Not the best quality either, the strap broke off after the first use and the casing doesn't feel like it was last after a drop to the floor.

True, its a handy microscope.. My preschoolers got obsessed with it as it is fun to use and zoom everything which we see and observe in our play area. I like the size as well as it can be fit anywhere . I used to see only big size microscopes but it is as handy as a small magnifier.

Bought one of each colour, my kids spend hours outside looking up close at everything they possibly can! So much fun for them. Picture quality of good, they’ve dropped them and they haven’t been damaged. Really like these!

This is a great addition to my child’s learning in a fun way. She hasn’t stopped using it to look at things up close. It’s great value for money and would make a great gift for a child. It really does magnify and it’s a great color for the girly girl in your life. It’s also very sturdy as we’ve been accidentally dropping it in the paved road that leads up to the garden. Pocket sized so very handy!

Ottimo gioco per bambini curiosi, in realtà non è carino solo per i bambini, ma si divertono anche gli adulti a vedere gli animali/oggetti con la lente di ingrandimento. Facile da usare, leggero da portare ovunque, ottimo per distrarre i bambini magari nei posti dove potrebbero annoiarsi
