Great value for money. Read my full review for user experience !!!
I was searching for a good Headphone Amplifiers for quite a while. I am using a Steinberg UR12 sound card and i needed multiple headphone outputs. Use a BALANCED 1/4 INCH PHONO CABLE to connect it from your SOUND CARD OUTPUT TO HEADPHONE AMPLIFIERS INPUT to get a stereo image.Talking about this product, I find this as a good value for money. In order for you to hear the true sound of your headphones use this product. This provides a good power for your headphones to perform at it's core.Pros: 1) Great sound quality2) Good quality knobs.3) Perfectly labelled markings on the knobs.Cons: 1) Not super firm2) No rubber pads in the base for support.3) The input jacks are not that firm.

Best in this range. Close your eyes and go for it.
This is the best headphone amp at this price range. I got 3 of them and I use them regularly in my studio with no hitch. One I own for more than 2 years and still works without any noise. The sound does crack at the max volume but who wants to spoil their ears by putting it to max.. Till 3 o'clock its clean and loud. I will order one more by next week for my jam room.

Overall Good for Musicians n others
A) Physical: Item is sturdy with it's metal casing which is good & knobs are tall & good (not very high quality sort of) but easy to rotate or controllable. 1/4" or 6.3mm Input and Output ports are really good and the orange/yellowish power On LED is soothing.B) Sound: It can reproduce really louder sound on all 4 ports. You just have to adjust separately as you need. You may easily use it at studios (incl home studio), live performance and home entertainment with friends/partners/family & Musicians (while rehearsing together). But one thing I must mention that above a certain volume levels (depends on the variable headphones) sound may distort (may be above 70/75/80/85% etc)I tried this device mainly with multiple models of SENNHEISER, SAMSON, SONY, JBL etc [incl low cost n test purpose with OKAY II (dj), AHUJA, BEHRINGER, PHILIPS etc].C) Conclusion: A Must buy for Musicians mainly. It's really do that enhancement which we need in various situations.Overall a Good Utility but Overpriced. If you ask me as a Musician, sound n tech person (live n studio both) & user of multiple lower to highend instruments n gadgets then in my opinion the price should be in between 1.8k-2.2k(max).D) Suggestion to Amazon: Plz improve it's packaging which I didn't like at all because of no protection inside n original package was also cracked n broken but the item was alright luckily.Thank you :)

Does the job well
High quality product. Beautiful, sturdy knobs! Needed it to amplify output from an optical audio to analog converter. The optical audio was from a LG smart tv. Not so smart of LG to not have a headphones output for their smart tv made in India.Sound is a bit raw, unregulated and so has the potential to damage ears even in lower volumes set in Behringer. I think this is because of the nature of the optical audio output from the tv. So one has to constantly keep adjusting the volume on Behringer.

Very good metal construction
Pros:1. Very good metal construction.2. All four volume controls work perfect. Both left and right channels have same volume level at any volume setting.3. 12 V adapter is provided.4. Comes with three-year warranty from Behringer.5. This amplifier takes only a little signal from original device and amplifies the signal thereby reducing load to the original device and also provides analog volume control.Cons:1. Provides only little volume gain. Not Behringer's fault. There is a standard gain level which should not be exceeded for headphone level. Device is designed to take headphone level in and give headphone level out so we can imagine how much additional gain they are supposed to provide. It is good for headphone splitter with dedicated volume controls for individual channel rather than actual headphone amplifier.2. Need to use quarter inch to 3.5 mm adapter to connect to headphones. In many cases, adapters will be faulty and wont make good contacts. Changing adapters will solve problem.3. Should use shielded input wire, which is not provided. If properly shielded wire is not used, lot of hissing sound will come. If properly shielded wire is used hissing sound will come only if we turn gain knob all the way up (above 90% which is acceptable). If input device is computer or smartphone, do not use big wire for input, weight of which might damage socket.4. Wont provide enough power for high impedance headphones.5. Sometimes just getting a low impedance headphones with bigger drivers might provide sufficient volume without the need for this amplifier, but not all headphones will be lightweight or comfortable to use.

Best Headphones amplifier
It amplifies sound and 4 headphones can connected. For sound quality and final mix, this is not the right device!.. you gotta use one headphones that you connect to your audio interface directly. You can go for it.

OK but so so
After seeing reviews regarding connecting this HA400 to different home theatre speakers I thought of buying this to my home theatres of Akai SS65, Infinity 2.1 and creature 3. The sound quality is same and amplification is considerably nice for Akai SS65 and Creature 3. But it didn’t match with infinity 2.1 and the speakers sounded much low quality. Perhaps this amplifier is designed for headphones only. For those who want to use it for speakers beware that there is matching problem of impedance. Inspite of all these I am happy with the product which is fulfilling most of my wants. This one is very good value for money if it is near to ₹:2500/- since this is $25/- in Amazon
