It requires a double button start up!
I almost threw mine away after it kept turning off after the initial video screen. I was so disappointed! Then, I came to Amazon and looked up the instructions and found out you have to do a double button reset so it leaves the example screen. Thank goodness I checked because it's so fun. There is a video camera, a night camera, pictures, lessons, etc. So much in a set of Binoculars! So great for the little ones that love looking at nature and like exploring.

Great gift
I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. It's very durable and well made. Packing was perfect. I have to say they picked up the price because when I bought it, it was only $55.00 and they are over $100. Be careful about prices on here they aren't always what they seem. Use Google to find the best price. It's pretty simple to use fun for kids.

5 year old loves it!
Bought this for my 5 year Grandson. He loves it! He plays the games (he just learned mushrooms are a fungus), LOVES the night vision and has taken a bunch of pictures so far. I plan on buying my other grandsons this as well. I would also recommend buying the case for it too.

Educational and fun!
My grandson is going to love this for his Christmas gift. I opened, unpacked, and turned the binoculars on to test them. I was amazed by the content and how it works. Of course, it's LeapFrog, so I knew the quality and age range were perfect! Can't wait to see his face when he opens it!

7 year old who loves animals absolutely loves this. Easy to figure out and lots of fun. Highly recommend.
