Outstanding Sound – Better Than Other Big Brands
These Bose QuietComfort Earbuds absolutely blew me away. I own several big-brand headphones including Beats and Sony, but the sound quality on these is truly outstanding—rich, balanced, and immersive with incredible depth. The active noise cancellation is next-level, blocking out everything from traffic to chatter with ease. They’re also surprisingly comfortable, even for long listening sessions. They sit securely without putting pressure on the ears, and I never feel like they’re going to fall out—even while moving around or on the go.Battery life is solid, and the Twilight Blue colour adds a nice premium touch. If you’re serious about sound and comfort, these are a fantastic investment. Bose have absolutely nailed it with this

Very well performing earpods.
Was in a dilemma as to going for the Apple or this version. I chose these as Bose are good quality devices and were more economical ( on a special offer ). Very satisfied with my purchase. Fit in ear is easy and needs little adjustment to get it right. Easy to understand instructions and operating functions ( I’m getting on a bit and don’t appreciate over complicated systems ! ). Active noise cancellation is very effective . Charger case neat and easy to store and charge pods. Sound reproduction on music is very good with ability to personalise audio settings. Recommended.Update. Unfortunately, and I have no explanation, the noise cancelling function deteriorated to an unacceptable level. I contacted Amazon ( very supportive) and then Bose U.K. ( again, very supportive). Explained fault and exchange agreed for new replacement on return of faulty pair. I would still recommend this item and further commend both Amazon and Bose for their support and no quibble approach.

Earbuds do not recharge correctly and has pairing issues when taking in and out the case.
The sound quality of these is great. But this is the worst pair of in ear phones I have ever bought. Firstly they are uncomfortable, the buds are far too large to fit in your ear particularly whilst running they constantly fall out. One of the ends of buds fell off and I lost it on the ground somewhere - there is no replacement for this unless you go directly onto the bose website and there is not an identical replacement and the original box does not come with spares - it cost me an extra £15 plus shipping to replace. However the biggest issue is functionality, placing the earbuds back inside of the case does not seemingly turn them off. This is a huge nuisance when you need to just recharge the headphones as they are both still connected to your phone and also not recharging in the case. Other issues include taking them out the case and one of the earbuds simply does not connect which means you are constantly putting them back in the case to take them back out only to discover one of them has not recharged. I have owned this product for less then 2 months and I can catagorically say these are the worst earbuds I have ever bought, I would not recommend these.

Comparing my new Bose Quiet Comfort Buds with my Sennheiser Momentum Cans
I bought my Bose buds in December 2024 and have got a lot of use out of them. I am very pleased with them.I already have Sennheiser Momentum over the ear headphones which I love. I found the sound of the Bose over the ear headphones a little lifeless when I was buying the Momentums in 2018 and didn't like the sensation of the ANC with the Bose either. I was taking a risk when ordering the Bose QC Buds as I hadn't heard them and was relying on reviews. The sound of the QC buds is really good and I am very impressed with the ANC. These cannot be described as lifeless! That feeling of pressure I experienced with the ANC from the Bose over the ear phones in 2018 when I ruled them out as an option is not there but it still works more effectively than the Momentum phones I have (they are gen2). I also think the ANC with the Sennhesers works well enough by the way.The dynamic range is impressive with the QC buds. Bass is strong and clean with good separation across the frequency range. There is a lot of detail. For a few weeks when I first got these I neglected my Sennheiser cans. When I eventually went back to them I was blown away. I was immediately reminded why I paid twice the price for them compared to the Bose QC buds.I prefer the depth and richness of the midrange from the Momentum over the ears and find the sound they offer is more balanced and an overall bigger sound that propells them to a much higher level. Vocals are a delight with the Momentums. I don't get this with the QCs although I do marvel at the detail and clarity of the Bose.I can listen with the Sennhesers for a long time and not feel any fatigue. It's not quite as good with the Bose which I have found get a bit tiresome but only after a pretty long time. They are comfortable to wear though and feel pretty secure once in place. The only criticisms I have with the QC buds are 1. the perceived quality of the case. This feels quite cheap and fragile compared to other buds I have owned. It is also a Matt finish which I find is quite slippery in my hands. Something with a bit more grip would be better for me. 2. I've also had a few issues with one of the buds not working when I first put them into my ears. I think this may be when I am too quick. They seem to need time to find each other. A little frustrating but popping then back in the case and trying again has always worked so far.So, in summary I am very happy with the Bose QC buds. I owned Lypertek Z3 buds before that went wrong (I owned two sets of these and liked them but neither pair lasted long). The Bose QC buds are a significant step up from the Lypertek Z3s. When I bought the Bose buds they were £129 which I think is excellent value for money!
