I got this unit to charge my Samsung S24 Ultra through a 3d printed model and an Otterbox case. It took a bit to model the proper mounting space for it but it doesn't suffer from the short range that prevents other wireless chargers from being used this way. That's different and good news as some barely charge through a thick case.Unlike some I saw no overheating but I didn't put a pie tin on it or anything. As for the concern over your power bill, come on. It is rated for 15W and most people pay $0.20 to run 1000W for an hour. If your bill is high you have other problems, probably insulation. It is always insulation.I'll probably pick up more of these going forward. Good little units and it is nice not to have to deal with the 'sometimes it works' issue of shorter range chargers.

Reasonably easy installation, once the directions are deceiferred. It appears the instructions were written either by AI or someone with English as a second language.Once installed, it connected and fast charged my wife's GalaxyS24 with ease. Unfotunately, the best I can get with ky Galaxy Fold 6.is a momentary burst of connection and then nothing.I tried for an hour to reposition, verify the connections, and everything else I can think of, to no avail.This will not charge my fold 6, with or without a case.

Some might be overwhelmed by all the parts of this, and the exposed heatsink on the bottom. You shouldn't put it in a case, as it says it will get hot on the bottom and needs air flow. It does work, but doesn't have that positive magnetic feel when putting your phone on a normal magsafe puck charger. It's still tough to find that sweet spot, especially as you install this. It comes with a LED "tool" that is supposed to help find the center, but it's not a solid light. It flashes. And the flashes don't help a lot. The instructions are spotty, too. I suppose this product is best suited for thick desks where you want a flat surface to charge your phone. It does seem to work while installed under a thick desk, so for that usage it's a good option.

Finally got this connected today. I have a very narrow table I was connecting this to, so I needed a small form factor L-shaped USB-C connector to make it work. Ordered one from Amazon, and it came in today, so I was able to get it set up. Works really well. Charges fast. No overheating. Easy to install — comes with Velcro/adhesive AND screws if you want to mount it more permanently. Also comes with multiple styles of decals to cover upper portion and blend in better with your decor — marble, wood, etc. Great buy. Wouldn’t hesitate to get another. In fact, I’ll probably try getting one to retro-fit into my truck arm rest. 5/5 stars.

After looking at a few other invisible wireless chargers, I suspect this one is more difficult to install, because the guidance tool only has one light. The instructions are minimal, so it took me a lot of trial and error to figure out what I was doing. I'm not sure it's aligned perfectly, and I suspect I might get better charging abilities if it was, but it does work! I do have some concerns about safety; when I left the guidance tool on top of the charger it began to smoke slightly, so I unplug this before leaving the house for a while.

I am really pleased with this. I didn't expect it to work well or be easy to put on; I was expecting a lot of fidgeting and fitting, but it was very straightforward to get to work with the included kit. It's very convenient to have just a spot on my table where I can charge my phone. Very cool!

The charging pad is very thin and easy to place under a mouse mat or mount under a thin desktop.I have it laying under a mousepad on my dresser so when I lay my phone down, it automatically starts charging for the night.
