Love Hairstory
I’ve tried so many products and have always been disappointed in one way or another. However, Hairstory is the real deal. My hair looks healthy without being weighed down and while the cost is a little high it works. So for me, that’s a win.

Thinning hair
I'm truly impressed with this shampoo. It has done wonders for my hair's health and volume. I do recommend thoroughly reading the directions, as it's unlike typical shampoos in that it doesn't lather up much. This characteristic initially caught me off guard. However, after leaving it in for a few minutes and using the detangling comb during rinsing, it becomes evident that it's actively working. An added bonus is that it functions as both shampoo and conditioner, which is a real time-saver. Just be sure to rinse it out really well for optimal results.

Love this product, but price and packaging are off.
I love the product. When I use it, and rinse extremely well, my hair is noticeably smoother and feels healthier. I would buy it all of the time if the packaging and price changed. To include an odd little plastic hair comb with a purchase is wasteful. The company should recommend using a wet brush or pick to comb out and fingertips to massage scalp. The size of the product is too small and you do go through it quickly. It’s very thick and should be offered in a different packaging like a large salve bottle. The squeezed bag is an eye sore in your shower. You spend too much time struggling with the twisting of the bag and little flap lid to remove the product. It’s also confusing which bag to buy. They look similar. You have to order direct or through Amazon. Not convenient as picking it up at a local store when you run low.

Hate the price
Great stuff but hate the price. This has transformed my hair and the curls are always popping. I also love that the scent is very mild. My hair has never been so healthy but as I said, that price is awful.

FABULOUS SHAMPO
This product is an all-in-one cleanser and moisturizer. It transformed my thinning hair into glorious waves with loads of volume. It can be used daily, or as often as you wish and it always turns out great!

Never thought I could use a 2 in 1- packaging and dispenser bottle FAIL
I have long very fine naturally blonde hair that I dye A1 (dark blue-black). My hair tends to get dry even though I don't use heat. My hair doesn't accept permanent or semi permanent dyes of any type, a single shampooing drains all the blue tinge out and significantly loses the black. I have tried every color safe, color protective shampoo and conditioner system, and finally accepted this is the way it is and I try to only use shampoo 1-2 x a week max.I selected this product in the Rich formula.PROS: It does make my hair healthier and adds moisture. It's nice to have one step and not have to let it sitCONS: It smells ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE to me - chemical/harsh hair dye/acidic, it does speed up the greasy hair effect for me (second day vs 4th or 5th day), it's very expensive, the pouches are annoying and a waste of plastic, it does tend to make you break out along scalp line/behind earsI ended up getting the subscription after a few months of use even though I haven't gone through a whole pouch yet, I wanted the lower price and the refillable jar, I just wish they had a more eco-friendly way of getting it to you. I have to use a lot at a time for coverage (long hair, fine hair, and water pH/softness issues) but it lasts a while considering, even if I use it more than 2x a week.My best method for getting (almost) every drop out is at the end to put it upside down against the side of the shower and running a squeegee (or you can use your hand) and flattening it towards the spout. If it works for you, I hope you like the smell, thankfully I don't care too much since I work around smelly animals 14+ hours a day and have very limited social life even pre-COVID.It definitely still makes my hair color run down the drain but it's tied for "best" compared to everything else I've tried.UPDATE - don't bother with the stainless steel dispenser bottle, I'm on my second and they are pointless, the product is too thick and the bottle opening and tube are too small. I get a speck of the product out after one pump and then can pump til the cows come home and will never get any more (and yes I know how to make it so there's a vacuum). It's a total flaw, they've sent me multiple pumps, the first time after the tube had disconnected from the pump and I had a full bottle that I couldn't get any thing out of even after sacrificing a drinking straw to try and scoop some out. This is so frustrating and such a waste of time. I'll be using the big tin only which should come with it for the price you have to pay. I had to store the bottle upside down open and then swing it around and shake it violently every shower to get a little bit out. Once it got down some I had to water it down to get the rest (and there was enough for 1.5 months trapped in there).

A New Way of Washing
I had damaged my hair over a year ago, and with urging from my husband, I decided to stop dying my hair and let it go natural / salt & pepper. I have very thick hair, and wanted to be able to help it stay healthy. I happened upon an article interviewing the founder of Bumble & Bumble, who created New Wash, and was intrigued. It seemed to tick all the boxes for me, so I decided to give it a try. All I can say is...AMAZING! I love that my hair feels, looks, and smells clean...and also feels and looks healthy! I noticed my scalp producing more oils when I washed with traditional shampoo. I don't feel that with New Wash. It feels more balanced. No more overly washed itchy scalp, or oil production over compensation. I didn't think I'd need the scalp brush that comes with it, but I love the scalp massage I get when using it! I love it and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to walk away from shampoo.

Nope.
I have waist length curly hair that tangles easily. Generally I use very specific cowash products that provide plenty of slip to help detangle. I also have to use a lot of product since I have so much hair. I purchased the moisturizing product. It is very thick, which is fine, but I have to use A LOT to get it through all of my hair. On a range of 1-5 for slip, with one being poor, I'd give this a 2. If I had ear length hair, maybe I'd consider repurchasing, but theres no way I'm saving money contrary to what Hairstory touts on their ads and website. IF you don't use it every day and IF you use a tiny bit each time, it will last a while. I went thru the entire 'bottle' in a week. No way I'm spending $160 a month!!! Sorry Hairstory, I'm sticking with As I Am products. They work and are a HELL of a lot cheaper. The scalp massager works great 😊
