Q: What type of fabric does the pattern recommend or suggest and how much is required for size 14 please.

Recommended fabrics: cotton and cotton blends, chambray, lightweight denim, twill, silks and silk types, suede silks / rayons. For size 14 you require 2.5 yards of 45” or 2.25 of 60” Metric : 2.3m of 115cms or 2m of 150cms. I have made the pattern twice and found a cotton worked best. The denim I tried didn’t really hang well. They are quite wide at the bottom so I narrowed them a little. They are comfortable and quite easy to make.

Q: are the trousers waist high

Unfortunately I have not made these yet but understand they sit one inch below the waist. Hope this helps
