BMR1959 stands for Barbara millicent Roberts who the doll was made for by her mother Ruth in 1959.

is it ok to put in the pool or the beach ?

I would not get this doll wet or expose it to sand. At the very least, it would likely ruin the doll’s hair and clothes. Might work if you put a bathing suit on her and a swim cap to protect the hair.

Is braided one curvy?

No she is a regular style Barbie. Only the the one in the floral dress is curvy out of this series.
