This is the third butane torch I've had and by FAR its the best.The other ones require you to fill them. Having the entire can as the base of the torch is a huge advantage.The torches that need filling have leaks, are dangerous, and dont have nearly the flame control this one has.I use it to light my grill's smoker tube and its so much faster. Going to use it for more now, like searing steaks and lighting bonfires. It's awesomeand having the can on the bottom, locked in means I don't have to worry about running out of fuel.I love it so far and highly recommend it. Wish I had gotten it instead of the other 2 I've had.

Butane torch is very good

Keep the instructions. Took me reading the instructions to get how to put burner on butane tank and activate the “lock”.Puts out a lot of flame if you turn it up.Seems to be well constructed.

I picked this up as a cheap replacement after my Iwatani torch gave up from a decade of use. The ignitor on the new unit quickly stopped sparking, which meant I had to light it manually - with a lighter. The flame coming out of the end was a weak yellow flame. Adjusting the air intake and gas flow did not help.I was not able to achieve the strong blue flame I was accustomed to having. After the 3rd use, the unit began to leak, with a noticeable hissing sound. I tried the burner unit with a new butane can and still had the same issues.There were a lot of positive reviews on this item, so it’s possible I just got a “lemon”. I threw it away yesterday and ordered another Iwatani. This is the main style of torch I like to use in the kitchen, and to light my charcoal grill and smoker.

It stopped working well after a year .I don’t understand why
