Purchased these to help teach my nephew weapon safety and some basics.Spent alot of time target shooting balloons and foam cups. Lots of fun!I did tag a neighborhood dog in my trash right on the butt and he hasn't returned yet. I know it hurt him but didn't cause injuries due to I found the .40 slug on the ground with no sign of blood or tissue damage. I was about 20ft away to.Anyway hopefully this helps.As always, be safe & careful!

Found out if u only have one blowgun to go around u should have a dozen mouth pieces on hand. When your getting a little board and you want to plink at a soda cans get ya a large piece of card boards to protect the walls. along hall way will do. Get ya a box to place your cans inside and dangling from pieces of string cause what you want is to hear a little noise when you hit the can and a little motion at the same time, remember we are board staying in the house all this time. So get it together use your your own ideas, just keep it safe and remember that you can chew with false teeth and you can walk with a wooden leg but you can't see out of a glass eye! Oh and I found my 8 point holder so dis re-guard by nasty gram it was covered by the label.

a little light but also a little better accuracy

Every summer I have a problem with hornets in my house. I have a high ceiling with wooden beam at the highest point. They occasionally get into the house and they like to hang out up there where I can't reach with the vacuum hose, or a broom. Using these I can usually knock them down (if not outright kill them) with a shot or two.

Wow, I was not expecting these to hit as hard as they do. I saw that there were plugs with metal tips I really thought this would be much less effective than are. I'll definitely have to trim the excess from them like another reviewer said. I am thankful she or he shared that.They do some decent damage to expanded ps foam at ~20 feet. I was pleasantly surprised, it's a good value. Not I can practice without having to dig my darts out of whatever the backdrop every ten shots. 36" .40 Predator.

Molded plastic is super cheap now days. There is no reason it should cost this much for 50 tiny pieces. Unfortunately the selection on Amazon isn't that good so this was what I bought. It serves its purpose but is overly priced.

I don't have a lot of experience with other .40 cal slugs, but these seem to be of good quality and I haven't had any issue with them. They seam to seal up well in the gun and can take a beating. I like em. Not much else to say.
