could you use it over an iphone microphone to improve outdoor recordings?

This wind screen was designed for the Zoom microphones. Nevertheless, it does fit on the iPhone Plus size phones but it is a little loose. With a lot of wind, it might blow off. For the smaller iPhones, it would likely blow off with just a small amount of wind. Of course, if you are holding the iPhone to take a video and are holding the wind screen on the bottom of the phone, this screen should work but you would have to be careful the movement of your fingers holding the phone does not introduce other noise.
