Oregon Techni 280 545820 Heat Resistant Trimmer Line for Over Grown Grass and Weeds

As a professional grounds worker this is my go to line now, I only use Oregon it’s durable and lasts ages it out performs any line i’ve used before.Just remember to soak it in water, I leave mine in a bucket helps it from being brittle as recommended.

I had around 2 acres of growth to get through. I used this wire with my Husqvarna 135r strimmer and it performed brilliantly. Only had one occasion where the wire broke. This is now my go to wire.

Extremely durable, so pays for itself in both time (to reload the spool) and money (less line used per hour).Although some say it's noisy, I don't agree.I've used far more noisy line than thisThe sponge in the container helps keep the line damp during storage.I've used lots of types of line from Oregon and another company. This is the best by far.

Very stiff so difficult to load, soak 48hrs & keep wet [flexible now] BEST line ever , no welding like Stihl crap lasts for ever. Feeds 100% highly recommended. Stihl fs55 26-c2 ,needed to remove plastic flashing & file sharp edges to load. Am a Council volunteer & strim miles of overgrown pavements. Alan.

Seems to live up to its promise - generally tougher than standard line, does not weld together in spool, and resistant to breaking at eyelet. A worthwhile improvement when tackling coarse vegetation for small increase in price. As with all line, benefits from keeping damp prior to use.

strimmer cord is really strong and durable. + the seller was great to deal with after a delivery problem ( this was not the fault of the seller) it was soon solved

Kept breaking faster than the speed of light and after the 7th occasion of the line breaking I ended up hurling my strimmer down the garden.Will be sending this back purely on principle....

Tried lots of Oregon trimmer line in the past and others and been disappointed. This stuff cuts through all sorts, lasts ages so no fiddling about rethreading all the time and feeds well without jamming like some.

Déjà équipé d'un modèle en 2.4mm de la même marque mais d'une "technologie/conception" différente, j'ai décidé d'opter pour cette référence en 3mm car celle de 2.4mm me semblait un peu "fragile" sur la durée.Après 5 heures d'utilisation, mon choix s'est révélé payant ! Le renouvellement des 6 mètres de fil (environ) de ma tête de coupe n'a été nécessaire qu'au bout de ces 5 heures ! Il a pourtant dû faire face à des herbes hautes, des ronces et des bordures en pierre, je suis très agréablement surpris par sa résistance.A l'installation sur la tête de coupe, il se révèle inévitablement plus rigide que mon modèle précédent en 2.4mm mais il n'en reste pas moins facile à manipuler/installer.A noter qu'un accessoire de découpe est fourni, et il est loin d'être anecdotique. Toujours à portée de main (il s'insère dans la tige via un petit orifice, visible sur mes photos), il permet de se passer de la traditionnelle paire de ciseaux, il ne sera donc plus nécessaire de penser à l'emporter avec soi lors des sessions de débroussaillage.Côté efficacité, il est redoutable si bien utilisé : il suffit de plier le fil et d'y enfoncer la lame de l’accessoire du côté « bombé »/extérieur (comme indiqué par la photo de l’emballage).Enfin, le conditionnement de l'article est excellent.Un trou à l'arrière permet de maintenir le fil pendant le déroulement de la bobine sans pour autant qu'elle ne sorte par le centre, le risque d'emmêlement est alors écarté.
