I use these on my spectrum analyzer and MiniVNA to protect the SMA connectors on the instrument.

SAVE YOUR TINY SA & MORE
These adapters help save the connections on my tinySA's and NanoVNA's because the test loads don't spin as easy as these adapters, thus causing undue stress upon the connectors. I would rather replace an adapter than replace a connector internal to my device. Mush easier.
