I ended up reordering more - (twelve in total). They are great! Very strong./ Like the flat bungee for my use, which was a little unorthodox. I used 9 of them to create a barrier on a platform I built to support dog ramps on either side (one inside the above-ground pool and one outside). I also used on at each ramp joint to help me lift them (they fold). I am 60 y/o and disabled, so I need just a little extra help to lift those ramps. These really fit the bill. I ordered the 18" for my needs, as I needed them to stretch between 26 and 31". So far, no complaints. We'll see how long they hold up in the Phoenix heat, but I don't anticipate them falling apart quickly. Fast delivery - great packaging.

I got the 36" straps. Good stretch to 48". Can stretch further but I'd call that over-stressing the elastic. Hooks are beefy and appear to be anodized. Am using them to hold an Epic Surf Ski to a custom roof rack made for a Porsche Targa. Stretch in my case is 40" and ski is tight in rack. Since I just got them, can't say anything about durability of elastic. Hooks are heavy duty.

No complaints. More compact for when not in use. May have limits for heavier articles.

Best bungee cords I’ve ever bought. Bought several times and have give some of them as gifts. Quit loaning them because I can’t get them back!

I probably could have purchased a lighter weight cord for my purposes. This is heavy duty for the big jobs. Looks like quality material, super heavy hooks. Not a lot of stretch so buy the right length for the job. Have not used it long enough to make a comment on long term use.
