Gauge of pipe is it 1/2”

All I know is that it is a standard basin fitting. The taps were fitted by a plumber and it is difficult to get behind the pedestal to check. They are very solid taps and good value for money. Sorry I can't help.

The ones which just arrived are quarter-turn, although it doesn't say on the description at all - unsuitable so I'm returning them.

They are easy to clean and we have hard water. I suggest you get a neutraliser fitted on your incoming supply mine really helps.
