No it doesn’t require any power, you just lay on it. Genuinely one of the best ever spontaneous purchases I’ve ever made !

Q: Hi. The pad came without any instructions for guidance. Can you explain how you use it.

It is suggested that 20mins is long enough and to set an alarm or timer as people tend to fall asleep. Also last thing at night can be good to aid sleep. I fell asleep on mine and was still on it when I woke up in the morning! I won't make that mistake again. It is also suggested that if you initially find the mat too prickly then wear a thinnish T shirt until you become used to it. The first couple of minutes on the mat can be challenging for newbies but after that it's fine so worth persevering.

Q: What benefits does the pillow give you?

I find the pillow very beneficial for easing aches and pains in my neck- have upgraded the mat to an original Shakti Mat as I wanted a more intense experience after using this one for some time but I still use the pillow daily.
