Bang For Buck Blowout!
This thing is awesome. And for $200+, you can't beat it w/ a bat. I used to ride as a kid and with all the traveling I do, this works for getting around the city. It being the same size/weight as a regular skateboarding can through it into a back pack or carry it when i go inside buildings (restaurants, museums, etc.).Cons: it only supports a recommended weight of up to 175lbs ( I'm 193lbs). So its limited to performance on hills and rough pavement. It does go offroad.Pros: where do I start...? Plenty fast, even w/ me being heavier than recommended. It has two speed modes w/ reverse and the breaks work.It handles cobblestones like a champ. And very well planted. The wide stance and large wheels makes it stable and easy to ride, but it is a short board. Which means it carves too well for high speeds. You can ride it like a regular skateboard as long as the power is on. When its off, it feels like you'd expect an electric motorized wheel to feel. Like the brakes are on. However, it does have regenerative recharging, which will recharge the battery on down hills and when pushing manually. Because of this mode there's an overload safety and the remote will vibrate to worn you before it shuts itself off.You can change the speed and direction on the fly.Every change made or warning sends a buzz through the remote, so you have something to keep you from damaging the product. All and all, if your in the market for an eboard, this is a great novice/entry board. Bang for buck, you're getting this thing at a steel. It is loaded. I might be getting a few more for the kids.

Best electric skateboard for the price! (Youtube vid soon)
This is an amazing skateboard for beginners and pro's tooThey say it does 6miles of range, with me did 8.3 miles and i could still do another mile with no problem, does go fast on the high gear, and can manage to do 10% elevationI love the way that this skateboard is, its small, but not too small, pretty wide, and can handle little cracks and cobblestones with no problemI've been using to go from Home to work (About a mile) every day, and on the weekends, I take to a long ride by the beach usually doing between 7-8 miles with one charge (Plus the extra portable battery that I have when I need more range)I'll do a Video Review of this skateboard on my Youtube channel and for sure will upload it here so everyone can see and trust this company (This is not a paid comment or paid promotion)I'm doing this review because I'm impressed with how this little thing is performing with meHere is how much I weigh and how tall I'mIm: 5,11ft and 153lbsUsually, I wear a backpack with a portable battery: plus 4lbs

Would Recommend But Keep in Mind the Following
The design is basic and its lighter and more compact than I thought it'd be but it still certainly has heft and may be difficult for kids too carry this aside riding it was both intuitive and eye opening the controls are basic and as follows the button that depicts a joystick switches between a slower and faster mode indicated by a corresponding flash of LED's at a slower or faster rate the fast mode is much more punchy and difficult for me someone who isn't by any means a skateboarder while the slowmode is both palpable and more smooth I think the reviews don't reflect the product you get and have no problem recommending this to others its easier to learn than you'd think and its totally a solid bang for your buck option; of note this review is only after having ridden it for 2 and a half hours or so nonetheless I'm haply with it so far.

ZERO STAR! False Advertising!
They should just advertise this as a skateboard, being the board itself doesn’t charge! $200 for a skateboard with one wheel resistance (because of cheap, low-quality hub motor). If you’re a home body, Don’t worry! You wont be anywhere on this board! Bought and returned 2 boards within a couple days because they both didn’t charge! Save your money and buy a slightly more expensive board with working parts and helpful customer service!

Good investment, very reliable
I am a freshman in college in Florida and use this electric skateboard to travel around a relatively large campus. The board has served me well and I don’t have any complaints as far as how it served it’s purpose. It is easy to set up and charge. I had never ridden a skateboard before and it was easy to learn how to turn and stay balanced. The board is sturdy and durable, but it has developed some air bubbles on the top (see the picture). They are just cosmetic and don’t bother me. I generally ride this board in the lower gear, but if I am riding down a long straightaway, I put it on a higher gear and it gets pretty fast. The board does not do very well going uphill in first gear but does manage it in the higher gear.

Really slow
It looks awesome. It’s lightweight. Just don’t try riding it up and slight incline at all. You’re better off walking at the point.

Crash test dummy board
Like someone else mentioned here, one little piece of dirt or a twig under one of the wheels, and you are going to be on your BUTT. It is a fun machine, and has quite a bit of pick up, but I'm definitely going to rethink how I ride this from now on (I'm currently recovering from my third fall), so I got all the necessary safety gear, and from now on I'm only going to ride it on the lower gear, on terrain I know. Still a really fun, and beautifully simplistic machine, and it seems like it would be a good intro to an electric skateboard. Wish I had known how much fun these things are, I would have gotten a more expensive one. Under no circumstances does this go the seven miles or so it's advertised... My battery light blinks after about 2.
