Can I use this for an outdoor pond

I use mine for an aquarium indoor. Providing you have waterproof connection it should work outdoors but needs plugging into a suitable outdoor socket.

What's the wattage of the 672L/H version?

This air pump is 8watts, it outputs 4×2.8l per min as read from the back of device.

Where is the 'inlet' for the air? I've taken mine apart and filled all the non-moving parts with foam to help dampen the sound, and I noticed no inlet

At the front of air pump ,and I sat mine on a folded tea towel a lot better, ur pump could over heat with foam in it
