very very light.. and confrotable.. and it makes you run with forefoot

These are my first pair of running shoes, landed on the Newtons after a lot of search for shoes designed for front foot strikers. I don't think there's any other brand out there with a similar design.Let's talk about the shoes:The bad1. These are labeled as neutral front foot strikers. However they are essentially midfoot stickers. So when I went out for a run, I was striking the region between the lugs and the part above it, so the ball of the foot started paining because I wasn't trying to land a midfoot strike like I consciously tried to do in the beginning.2. The insole is a bit slippery, so my toe often pushed against the front of the show, felt the show might damage if this happens often.3. For a shoe of this price, the foam sole looks pretty ordinary and I could see the glue joining the sole to the top on the front.4. They are running shoes, so if you are wearing them casually,youd have the constant thought of stepping on something due to the lugs.Now that the bad is over, let's talk about the good:1. The lugs are super good when I exactly land on them, I guess they made me run a bit faster too.2. The top of the shoe is very ventilated and the toe box is very roomy. I could feel some air blowing through my toes.3. They fit really well for a running shoe.
