I've had a medical mystery going on for over 5 years. Every March right around the same date I start getting extremely dizzy, anxious and a few other things. There's certainly nothing about march that would make me more anxious and I ruled out allergies by controlling them. I happened to read an article online about how some people may have higher levels of serotonin that start to go up during the spring, leading to a mild serotonin syndrome-- and that they have symptoms similar to mine. It mentioned that people who have autism run in their families may have this problem (which I do) but it's still a mostly under researched area. It mentioned that bacopa can help with serotonin balance. So I ordered these out of desperation, they arrived in the mail just as I was about to fall over and pass out. I took two pills and about a half hour later started to feel remarkably less dizzy and extremely focused. I am amazed! I plan to order a years supply! I have tried different supplements for years and have thrown most of them out due to ineffectiveness so I dont think this is a placebo effect. This may not work for you depending upon what your problem is but I believe this may indeed be doing something to help my serotonin levels and so it is working for me .

I’m always a bit skeptical about supplements that promise the moon, but as I work in a very high stress field, I thought I would give these a go. I’ve onky had them for about a week, so I haven’t noticed a big effect, but my emotions do seem to have been easier to manage. I wish these came in more than a 15 day supply so it would be easier to see the effects.

-Review of this Bacopa-Bought this after finding Pure Science 600mg 50% Bacosides too strong (which led to it destroying my sleep), and Bixa 450mg 10% Bacosides that was a bit too weak. This bacopa is just right, when I take 1 cap instead of the recommended 2 caps, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Capsules are easy to swallow, and less smelly than my previous brands. They give me the calming and cognitive benefits I want while still being about to sleep through the night.-Advice for Bacopa shoppers--Bacopa comes in all different types and concentrations and you may need to try several (like I did) to get the best benefit.-There are two main varieties of bacopa: Bacognize (such as this bacopa) and Synapsa. The former has a sedative effect, good for relieving anxiety, but if you don't have anxiety problems it will make you unmotivated instead--so in that case use a Synapsa-based bacopa.-Bacopa leaf is a lot weaker than bacopa plant.-In general, you can roughly gauge the strength of a given brand by multiplying the amount of extract by the percentage of bacosides (eg. 300mg * .5 = 150 mg)-Be sure to take it with something fatty (eg whole milk) for maximum absorption.-The cognitive effects aren't fully apparent until about 6 weeks of regular use; however, the calming effect kicks in as soon as it enters your bloodstream.-You may get diarrhea after starting use of bacopa--this is normal and temporary.Hope this helps!

I feel less brain fog already. Do your home work folks, clean up your body then your mind will take care of itself.This product works , remember if you eat the same things and sleep the same way and think the same. How can you make the true changes in your awareness. Go from some thing to nothing and you will be in awareness.I feel so much more energy and awareness. Try it , you will like it .Works better for me when i take pills with out eating . Do not eat for 2 hours then its ok to eat. I do 2 days on one day off 2 days on one day off. 14 days then one week off start again. After that you are done 2 months later start again. Im only letting you know how I do it. Every on is diffrent, ask your doctor before taking this.

Have not seen any results yet. I am going to give it a little more time and see how it works and then I will make a decision. I’ve only been using it for a little over a month.

I’ve just gotten off of long term anxiety medication that was hurting my short term memory. It was also messing with my ability to articulate my thoughts and I constantly felt like I was fishing around in the ether for the right words for things or how to express what I wanted to say, or for names of people, movies, etc. Since I’ve been taking these supplements I’ve noticed a definite improvement in word recall, name recall, and have been way better at expressing what I’m thinking. This product also seems to help with focus at work. Granted, I also stopped taking the medication, but I think it would be too soon to feel a difference from that as it’s only been a few weeks.
