Saguaro Cactus Two (2!) Nice Spines Carnegiea gigantea 2"-3" Tall AZ Seed Grown

Still going 5 years later!

I received great looking little saguaros! They arrived in just a few days but didn't open the package until the next day in order to get the unboxing recorded for making a youtube video of unboxing and planting these awesome little saguaros! search (saguaro cactus by eyes to inspire) on youtube if you are curious to see how they are packaged and how good they look and just how healthy they arrive. I even ordered them in the winter in Michigan and they were still planted in pots in amazing shape. I didn't let the package stay outside in the cold though, I made it a point to get it inside as soon as it arrived. I ordered the bigger saguaro cactus (described as 8-10 years old, 5-10 inches tall) at the same time and it was shipped in the same box. if you want some great looking, healthy saguaros then I highly recommend buying from this seller. they clearly take great care of their saguaros and get them to you quick! now the next thing is to try growing saguaros from seed.:)

Kind of small, only 2 inches tall and maybe 3" wide, but I like them. I ordered them on July 23, and they arrived yesterday, July 27, 2020. I plan to keep one in a big pot and the other I will place in the ground. I live in Central California and the weather here mimics the deserts of Arizona and Eastern Southern California.

We live in Arizona and have different types of large cacti in our yard. But I wanted one or two saguaros to grow indoors. These two little saguaros are very healthy and beautiful. When I learned they were grown here in AZ, I didn't hesitate to order them. In our yard we have a 9 feet tall prickly pear cactus and several large barrel cacti so it is kind of funny watching these beautiful little ones in their planter. They look happy so we are looking forward to see them grow. Excellent purchase.

I love the idea of having a saguaro cactus. One of the two spines died within a month of receipt. I did let the seller know; maybe they will send me another cactus.

Well, two pretty decent Saguaro specimens; however, I have ordered the same thing before, receiving even more superior specimens; I just know you folks can do better. THAT BEING SAID: I greatly appreciate the two lovely specimens I purchased, and would DEFINITELY recommend to another grower of Cacti. They are disease free, healthy, and only one of them is slightly scarred. ( I think the first item; I was spoiled with exceptionally exquisite specimens, no one's fault, not an issue.)9/10: Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Saguaro, or TWO with, which, (btw, terrific deal there), to grow a collection!

Meet Spike and Spiney, the Saguaro brothers. We adopted them in April 2019, just after leaving southern Arizona. They arrived promptly and were about 2.75 inches tall and chubby. In just 9 months the boys had almost tripled in size and were outgrowing their pot. Luckily we had returned to the desert. I read that a "nurse" tree was important for their survival. For now a creosote bush is sheltering them until I can find a suitable native tree.I highly recommend these healthy, easy to grow cactus plants.
