I tried various brands for this type of glove and most were either too small or too big. With tempered expectations, I gave this brand a try for an XL glove and to my surprise, it wasn't way too big! (It's not perfect but unless you're paying for a custom glove, it never is). I'm not sure if there is a standard measure for hands but I'm 6'2 but can't palm a regulation basketball. So if you're shorter and/or know you can't palm a basketball, you may look into a L for this company's glove.Can recommend though. I use it for normal workouts (weight lifting, pull ups, swinging from bars, etc).

These gloves work great! They are comfortable and good quality. The only downside is the way they wrap around your wrist. If you wear a Apple Watch or other device you will have to tray and manouver around it. Other than that they are perfect!

These gloves are comfortable and perfectly padded exactly where I need them to be. They are much more durable and better made than all my previous gloves.

First time I put them on, one of the finger loop seams popped - fixable but really shouldn't need to.

These work great. Provide wrist support and palm/finger protection when lifting.
